Molly Maids covers the basics of housecleaning without me having to ask for the obvious. And they have been willing to entertain requests for add-ons, at a cost of course.
When I come home from work, it is obvious that the house has been cleaned, and I don't mind when they move things around a little to put things in more logical places, like a hand towel or hand soap for example. I often appreciate and accept their changes.
I have recommended Molly Maids to my neighbors.

I have trouble with my back, so I chose Molly Maid to come in once a month. When you sign up for "basic cleaning", that's exactly what you get - nothing more. So if you are OK with this type cleaning, then you'll really like them. The only fault I have with this service is that whomever is assigned to your home does not pick up any items on your kitchen counters and wipe beneath them, nor do they dust any items you have on top of your coffee tables/end tables. I can't comment on any other type cleaning they do (deep cleaning) because I haven't requested that service.
If you're not satisfied with anything that's been done to your home, you can always call office and they make sure to send someone back out to take care of your problem.

We’re not new to Molly Maid. Back in the day, when we lived in Palo Alto (and when common folk like us could afford to live in Palo Alto) we had a Molly team come in twice a month. They were terrific. Eventually we retired to Orange County and for a long while we did our own housekeeping. But eventually that got old, so now we have Sonia and Dalia every other Thursday. They, too, are terrific. They are industrious, quiet, and leave our place super clean. When we have questions (e.g., holiday schedules) the Molly office is there to help. I stayed in a Bay Area Marriott last week. The bathroom was sparkling, which is how mine is when Molly gets done, a condition it never achieved when I cleaned it. We love our Molly Team.

I'm a single Dad 49 years old in a 2 bedroom apt. I work a lot of hours and don't have time or energy to clean the place before my 15 year old son comes over every other weekend. I was hesitant about a cleaning service. I've never had a cleaning service before. With my past law enforcement background, I am not the most trusting with letting just anyone in my apt. This cleaning service is absolutely amazing though and I highly recommend them.

Molly Maid is very accommodating regarding my house maintenance requirements. Their communication is consistent and they are very flexible in regard to changing days of cleaning if required.
