I've found Fitness Together Timonium to be very helpful. My training has been slow and steady and I'm seeing real progress as a result. The group listens to your goals and works with you to achieve them.
Nothing to improve. Everyone seems awesome and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s just very expensive which is why it’s not a 10. Not everyone can afford it.
I love that I am working one on one with a trainer who tailors the workout to my body and my fitness goals.
I also love how easy it is to schedule workouts and to make changes if necessary.
I wish I had found Fitness Together 20 years ago!
I've been a client of FT for nearly 10 years. I came to prepare for hip surgery. It worked well and I bounced back quickly. I have stayed because they helped me to avoid the need for follow on surgeries.
Please follow your own standards and if you need to cancel a session, give us at least 24-48 hours notice instead of having us show up at 6am to be told we were cancelled. Also don’t tell us we were cancelled because there was a big gap in the trainers schedule because her next client was later in the day. It made us feel like we were to blame because we have to work out early mornings instead of simply staffing correctly.
Prior to that incident everything was going as we had hoped and we were starting to feel better. Still looking forward to finishing the contract out and over all I feel positive in general about our experience.
FT has been a game changer for me - as a heart attack survivor in my early 70's, I enjoy strength and flexibility that is much better than the majority of my peers. My primary care provider and my cardiologist have urged me to continue my workouts because of the benefit they see. The trainors are the key to my success and I appreciate their work with me.
I like getting stronger and challenging myself. I like that strength training is really good for my bone health and for retaining and increasing my muscle mass.
