My 2 granddaughters had no formal education prior to them being placed into my care. They did not have home schooling. Their parents believed in un-schooling. The oldest girl was 12 and the youger girl was 6. Sylvan Learning has been like family to us taking each girl under their wings. The oldest is in 8th grade now and was at a 3rd grade level in reading and is currently at 7th. She tested at a 1st grade in math and is now up to 5th. The younger girl is in the 3rd grade, was struggling in 2nd especially in math, and not tested at 5th grade in reading and 4th in math. Thank you Sylvan for all that you have done for my granddaughters especially you, Amanda we love you.

They provide a wide range of teaching techniques so my kids are able to learn in their own way, and are able to understand and retain what is being taught. They work one on one with each of my kids based on their individual academic needs. My kids like going, they enjoy being there. Sylvan also has a convenient schedule to work with during the school year and during summer, it makes it really easy on a working mom of two. I am so excited to to see each kid’s progress when school starts back up in September.

My daughter has increased her reading scores, and her grades have improved. It is obvious in her improved work performance that she is learning new skills. And she loves coming to her class.

My granddaughter had no schooling prior to this year. She is 13 years old and Mom and Dad did not believe in schooling. They stated they were home schooling her but she claims they were not. In 5 months, she has come up 2 grades in reading and 1 grade in math. She loves going to the Sylvan Learning Center. She loves Tommy and Dana. They are so patient with her.

Very helpful. Tommy always tries to accommodate schedule changes. They also find solutions if your child is not getting the most out of the tutoring or if a particular subject is not offered at their location. My daughter really improved with the tutoring.
