Cornbread!!! Fried green tomatoes. Beet salad.

And the bread pudding if I'm having dessert.

I don't eat a lot of the items in the entrees but my family loves the jambalaya and the shrimp & grits. So all around its a consistent dining experience for everyone.

We love South City Kitchen. We have always had great servers there until this visit. The server was awful. She was inattentive to our table. We would have to flag her down to get a refill or additional food. It was very disappointing.

What do you like about our restaurant?

The food was delicious and the recommendations from the waiter were excellent. We had an issue with our cocktails and the server fixed the issues quickly and with a smile. It was a great meal and service to start out the new year.

What do we like about South City Kitchen? Gerard: Best. Waiter. Ever. We brought our family in last night who were visiting us from Sweden. They really enjoyed the Southern cuisine: fried green tomatoes, house-made pimento cheese, Gouda cheese fritters, fried chicken with collard greens (a first for them)and the shrimp and grits dish (another first for them). We love your food. The service was wonderful. My only complaint is that the music is too loud to carry on a real conversation.

Have many out of town visitor's that enjoy the restaurant and now prefer this when they come back to Atlanta.
