I always have a good meal at South City, but this time was the exception. The duck was not good. It tasted like it was re-warmed. It was very tough to eat. I will be back I just won't be having the duck again.
I love that they are always willing to accommodate me. Had last minute reservation for a party of 9 (friends in town) and was accommodated. The waiter Kevin or Keith was amazing.

I ordered take out and was very pleased with the service during the order and the order was ready when I arrived. The food was cooked as I wanted, the host was helpful, friendly and pleasant.
The atmosphere was inside welcoming. The guests looked comfortable and safe;The social distancing appeared appropriate and safe and assured me that I could dine in safely in the future.

We love eating at SCK and Lure. However, I feel that the policy of automatically adding a 20% gratuity to the check is disgraceful. Perhaps even deceptive. I wonder how many people even read your info card on the matter. We used to call that Cadillacing when I was in the restaurant business. I further believe that the ones who benefit most from this policy are the owners of Fifth Group. It's certainly not the service staff, who I'm sure make considerable less. Since Fifth Group participates in the federally subsidised PPP (my tax dollars) it seem to me it's labor costs must have dropped to near zero. I think we'll scratch Lure and SCK off our list in preference for Optimist and Soho. unfortunate.

The wait staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was fantastic. Two of us had the fried chicken and those dishes were awesome. I usually would not order fried chicken at such a nice restaurant but it was exquisite. Best fried chicken that I have had the pleasure of eating. Beat Mary Mac's Tea Room's fried chicken hands down.
My wife has celiac and it is always great to find a restaurant that caters to guests with celiac and offers so many Gluten-free options or dishes that can be prepared GF.

Perhaps taking time to retrieve phone messages;I had made reservations earlier since you don’t open until 5pm.recorder says someone will call back regarding questions? No one did, so I called after 5pm to make you were open and when I got there I found out I was not even on the list.
The atmosphere and ambiance is beautiful not to mention the menu is every bit as delicious as it was before quarantine.
