Excellent food ingredient quality, sophisticated preparation and presentation, friendly service and atmosphere plus location in my neighborhood make SCKV a great dining experience, a convenient option for a bite to eat at the bar and a superior value for the money. I won't specifically name names but there are other places in Vinings where you can SOCIALIZE, pay more and get much less.

Environment and service. On Thanksgiving, Jessica was our server. She was very good and we enjoyed our experience at your restaurant. Every time we have been there, we have had good service.
Early Monday afternoon, 11/19, my wife called to make reservations for a party of three on Thanksgiving Day. She was told the only time available was 11:30 AM. That was too early for us and she did not make a reservation. I called about 90 minutes later and asked for a four-top table. I was offered 11:30, 2:15 and 6:30, then made a reservation for 2:15. On Thanksgiving day we noticed not all of the tables were occupied and wondered how many reservations had been turned away like we initially were. Without our second call, you would have lost our business for your holiday promotion.
The atmosphere, the value, the decor, the friendly people (except sometimes the hostess when you don't have a reservation). The beer and liquor selection are great.

EVERYTHING.
I really like the personal service we receive. We dine at South City fairly often after church on Sundays, and the staff seems to recognize us and seat us in an area we like. They are also very accommodating with our twin 3-year old grandchildren.
Only thing better than the food and drinks is the service!
