It's upbeat, friendly and comfortable. we love it!
But i do wish you would update the menu. as a regular, we would love to see something new and different. And a pasta would be great. i used to love the parpdelle pasta with the option of adding chicken or shrimp.

This was our first visit to SCK Vinings - my first impression is of a totally different feel than the Midtown location. Second thing I noticed is a sense of airiness and actual space - no more cramped tables! I thought the service was good, but not consistent. The same
runner messed up placement of salad and main courses for a couple of us. We also noticed that tables around us received bread baskets, but we did not (although we did have bread plates at our table). Very odd...

We know South City Kitchen to be a place where we're going to get great service, a personal touch from the wait staff, and great food. We also enjoy the overall atmosphere which has made SCK one of our go to spots for our family gatherings.

I'm sorry to say that our last visit fell well short of our usual experience.

Initially, our waitress (Sonya) was dry but attentive which was fine. Not everyone is the chipper warm type. About midway through our meal something seemed to change with her demeanor and the service spiraled downward.

My wife was of the opinion that she seemed to have gotten irritated with the party behind us. They had her running with wine samples and sounded as if they were a tad crass at times but that was not something to take out on us

We usually tip at 20% but we reduced it to 18% but my wife and I left fairly upset.

I thought several times about going back in to speak with the manager but it was late and I was not in the mood for even the possibility of a back and forth.

All in all…a pretty unfortunate and sad situation considering we have always enjoyed our visits to your establishment. We're assuming it was just a bad night…they happen.
