My wife believes this is one of the few restaurants that knows how to cook a good veggie plate (though the new name is a little hokey). The Shrimp and Grits as well as the buscuits/corn muffins are really good.
No one is ever disappointed by a dish, service is always on top of things, and the atmosphere is nice but not too formal.
The location, ambiance, staff, and FOOD! Fried chicken is to die for and I always look forward to the biscuits and cornbread.
We had an excellent evening from start to finish. Our server (Marin, I think...male, brunette, skinny) was very good. He certainly knew the menu and had excellent recommendations. He did a great job! The food was also amazing, spot on. All in all, a great evening!

South City Kitchen consistently serves great food. Preparation and presentation are always top notch. It really doesn't matter what entree or food you order, just know that it will exceed your expectations.
We dined on Christmas Eve and our server, Cory, was excellent. The fixed price menu was a good value and provided a good variety of options. The food was delicious and we wished we had ordered extra to take home with us for Christmas Day!

I moved to Atlanta from Philadelphia so whenever friends and family come visit me in Atlanta I want to give them food they can't get at home. I think south city kitchen has great southern food at a reasonable price.

I live at Colony Square and have been a resident there for 21 years. For almost as many years, South City Kitchen Midtown has been my "go to" restaurant in my neighborhood. Thank you for always being consistently good in every way. Lunch on Saturday was just one of the many very nice meals and experiences I've had. The BBQ sandwich is delicious!

The atmosphere is nice, service is always good, food selection is good. Food is always good. If something isn't cooked properly, they don't hesitate to take care of it and make it right, without the customer even asking.
thanksgiving menu had lots of choices, food and drinks were well prepared and well served, atmosphere is relaxed but not too casual.
