the atmosphere is festive but not too noisy, the food appears to try and be local (dandelion salad was amazing!), and seasonal, which is important to me, and delicious. it's flavorful with still being simply prepared. service is excellent. (plus we can walk)

What do you like about our restaurant?

The staff was so energetic and friendly. They were extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu, gave very detailed descriptions and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm. Last but not least the food was TO DIE FOR, AMAZING! I have recommended La Travola to at least 15 friends and coworkers since my visit, this past Tuesday. I will, 150%, make it a regular dining experience!

What do you like about our restaurant?

I love this restaurant and have been coming here ever since we moved back home to Atlanta 8 years ago. It is one of our favorite "go to" restaurants. We are also Loyalty Rewards members. All of this is why it is so surprising I had such a bad experience this week when I brought 3 friends there for dinner. I think one of the things that distinguish Fifth Group restaurants in Atlanta is the consistency in excellent service. Unfortunately this was not the case the other night. Our server Sarah was pretty poor - starting with not even bothering to go over the La Grassa menu ( we heard another server going over it in great detail) and passing by our table numerous times without stopping to check on us - but appearing to provide the attentive service typically received at La Tavola to the tables around us. The hostess brought us bread about 10 minutes after we ordered, wine arrived after entree was served...just so atypical all around. Typically I would say something to a manager because that is the only was to know and address issues, but did not want my table mates to feel awkward at their first visit to the restaurant. We will be back because everyone can have an off night.

We love this little spot.
From the fist moment we stepped in nearly two months ago we were both sold on the ambiance, music, style, service and caliber of menu.
While the location sometimes leads us to think of party central it is nice to find such a lovely and chic space as this!
