Great food. Perfect service. In midtown. Local company. Great design. Consistently meets and exceeds expectations. Ecco is my restaurant that I go to time and time again be it a first date entertaining clients visiting friends and family my birthday or just a Sunday night when I don't want to cook.

very friendly staff, willing to help with recommendations. Fabulous food from a unique menu. Just the small plates and dessert are worth a visit. Add the cocktails and entrees and it's worth multiple visits.

The cured meats and cheeses are consistently good. I like that the menu changes every few months because I like trying new things. The staff is friendly, and we've gotten to know the bartenders who make great drinks and fun to chat with when they have a chance. Occasionally, some items aren't as good as others, but overall, they do a good job. My one issue is that their espresso isn't very good, and I've experienced it myself as well as hearing from other people who had the same sentiment.
Ambiance I great for any type of night, changing menu is great for regulars and I enjoy being educated by the knowledgable and interested staff.

Everything....ambience, food, wait staff, location -- thanks for being in Midtown. We can walk on a nice weather day -- that's a plus!!! And, our most recent visit was for hosting folks from out-of-town.....they loved it (again). They had visited 2 years ago and one of their favorite things were the pre-starter, goat cheese & honey balls and they couldn't wait to start their Ecco experience again with those -- just as they remembered. One of the best things they've ever eaten. And we are returning in a couple of weeks with our neighbors. Thanks.
