Food is consistently excellent!
Caroline is a great addition to the team! Please keep her! It feels like Ecco is finally hitting its stride again after the management turnover a few months ago. Love the newest additions to the menu. The wine list has taken some getting used to now that Aurora has left and it’s no longer mostly French, but I appreciate the new variety. The new pastry chef has also really stepped up the dessert game. There was a minor snafu with the computer not applying my birthday $20 off but the manager quickly took care of it.
The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding.
Best house Margaritas around. I didn’t think my partner would ever try anything else on the menu since they love the steak and the fried chicken taco so much, but lo and behold, they had the steak and shrimp fajitas this visit and are smitten! I am sticking with my favorite tacos but love to add the chorizo and cheese dip - yum.

We started off at a low point because as we entered Ecco Buckhead the hostess never looked up from her reservation book to say “Hi, welcome to Ecco!”
We paused and waited for that to happen, but she never even looked up so we simply went to the bar and sat down feeling that the hostess didn’t really care.
The food was good, but not up to Ecco standards. My wife has historically been a big Ecco fan, however was underwhelmed with this visit. Maybe the midtown location is just better?
Service was also slow and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Thankfully it was a slow night or service would have been even worse with a bigger crowd.
The manager did stop and ask my wife how her meal was, but it was quick and seemed like he was just checking the box.
Finally, as we were leaving the hostess once again made no effort to say thank you for coming in.
All in all, disappointing…
Ernest greeted me at the door and I say at the bar where Maggie took good care of me. Because it's time constraints I only had a glass of wine and a delicious appetizer, but I will be back to enjoy more of the menu. The cabernet by the glass was one of the best is ever had. Rodney, the GM was also present and introduced himself to me. Will definitely return for another experience.
Tagliatelle Bolognese! My favorite. I always get it. I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as delicious. Scotty is the best sever too. We come from Sandy Springs, and I’d drive even farther if I had to.
