The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious!! The fried catfish & chicken are to die for. I look forward to the cornbread muffins...delish. The collard greens have the best flavor and melt in your mouth. Must have...chicken livers..so so savory. The BEST fried green tomatoes. Everything I've tasted has been wonderful. The staff is very pleasant, kind, and attentive. A lovely treat!!

FANTASTIC!!! A collision caused my car to be in the shop for 12 days. So I am exploring all restaurants within walking distance. SCKB just became my last stop. I walked past it at the east 65 times but never saw an door way. Hunger drove me to go through the patio and meander into the front entrance past the entire restaurant. I have dined four days in a row. I am still finding new things to try on their three menus and EVERYTHING met or exceeded my expectations.
NOTE TO NEW VISITOR:
IF driving, enter with a right turn after Maggiano's and before 5/3 Bank. USE the valet it will be $2 plus tip after validation. If walking, Turn to first entrance possible on your right or left between the two above mentioned locations. The main door looks like a Wooden Wall just pull to go inside, there is the patio that you can duct under the bar to get in. There is also another entrance to the mail high rise but there is a hidden door to your left up a flight of stairs.

Had a great experience Saturday evening - interesting choices on the seasonal seafood menu and as always had great experience (thanks Chris and John!). We also loved our little table nook - wish more restaurants had seating for two like that.
