This past visit, we had two things that were not good. The goat cheese balls were overcooked and tasted burnt, we have never experienced this before.
Also, the focaccia was not good. We get it every single time we go, but this visit it was incredibly dry and chewy.
The food is unique. I love the seasoned chips, the retried black beans, the tinga quesadilla, and the salsa verde. It’s very different and specific to el taco but we love it. I do miss the little sprouts or whatever they were on top of the quesadilla though...

Great midtown location, we come here regularly and the menu is always changing, food is great, service is impeccable and friendly.

We eat at La Travola often before a play at the Fox. We have always found the food excellent and the service friendly and professional with a neighborhood place vibe. We would highly recommend La Travola!

I love their varied menu offerings. The service is usually great. Once in a while you encounter a server who doesn’t like her job, but it’s rare.

Food is always great and so is the service. Always a great selection of wine too.
We ordered the cauliflower side dish (which I've had before) but this time it was prepared way too spicy. We hardly ate it. The server should have removed it from the bill. I would have asked her to do that but we were in a little bit of a rush to get to the theater, so I didn't want to take the time to ask.
