The movers appeared to not fully understand how to move certain things such as angling a table to fit out of the doorway. They moved at a slower speed than expected to the point that we started to help unload the truck to speed things up. They also knocked the wall in a couple of places. Nice guys but not particularly invested in working

All three of the gentleman that helped us move were so courteous and they truly worked hard the entire time they were on the clock. They went above and beyond! I cannot sing enough praises for all their hard work and their great attitudes!

I like just about everything about Meathead Movers! We had 6 guys packing two trucks and three guys unpacking the trucks one state over. Everyone was polite, friendly, fun, and ever so careful about the things to be moved. They were all knowledgeable, strong, and tireless. Our experience with Meathead movers has been nothing but pleasant. From the initial contact, estimate, customer service, to follow-up, loading, moving and unloading, everything happened on schedule - to the minute! The estimate was accurate, there were no hidden fees or extra costs.
Many thanks to Bryan, Bryce, Michael, Richard, Darrell and Drake for loading, and to Bryan, Bryce and Darrell for driving all the way to Oregon and unloading. Not a scratch, nothing missing, nothing damaged.

Two days after my move I'm getting called about a miscalculation on Meatheads part and being asked to pay another hour. First, it wasn't a full hour it was 45 mins and when I offered to pay 30 mins of it as a compromise I was told they don't negotiate. It wasn't my error and in business when you make a mistake you should own up to it and work with the customer. I paid the total presented to me and signed on that total on moving day. Two days after the move I'm being treated horribly by Angel who doesn't seem to have any customer service skills at all. I've asked to talk to a manager and Angel called me back?? This pretty much sums up why I'm disappointed and will definitely never recommend Meathead and I haven't hit Yelp yet with this, but I will.

The guys were so helpful and cheerful. They were very careful with my antiques and organized my storage unit the way I wanted. They were great!
When I secured an estimate for Meathead service, I was told, based on # of rooms, that I would need only two movers for approximately 3 hours. On several occasions, I also informed the telephone staff that I had to leave the premises for a flight at 12:00 N, so the work needed to be finished then. I also told them that I didn't know the actual extent of items that might need packing, and to bring a good supply of med boxes just in case. I also mentioned there was a bed to disassemble. The movers were to arrive at 9 am. However, did not arrive until 9:30, and then took a half hour to review the contract, which I had already read on line. I reviewed withe the movers the items in various rooms they were to move, and in most cases moved these items to an accessible area, and removed items they were not to take. However, they worked slowly, carrying one box at a time through the length of the house to the van. I would have thought a dolly with several boxes would be more efficient. It soon neared time for me to leave, and they still had the one most filled room to load. They also had to wait for more boxes. I told them this was part of a legal issue, and all the items needed to be moved that day. Because I had to leave, I had to call a friend at the spur of the moment to stay until the packing was complete. I also had to add on another hour or so that over-doubled the original estimate. Even though my friend did their best to make sure all was loaded, and lock up my house, there was not enough time to thoroughly inform him, so when I returned from my trip a month later, I see that a very large amount of items were not moved. Also, because the movers took longer, the person who was to receive the shipment and direct the meatheads in what order to unload them in her storage unit, was,at a doctor's appointment for a recent hip surgery. So, her storage unit was loaded in a manner that she can't locate needed items, can't tell what was and not moved, and because of her surgery, can't move items to find them. Since the move date, she has been bugging me about possible items not moved and threatening legal action. Now that I return and survey the situation, I see that there are a large number of items, some very heavy. These are more than one could just easily carry and load in a car, especially with a healing hip. So, while the meatheads were very courteous and professional, they were slow and did not follow all directions, leading now to a major problem for me. I am currently on another business trip, and won't be in Fresno for several weeks. Meanwhile, I I have to contend with the person whose property is locked in my house.What do you suggest?
Two men were not nearly enough. Until I ran around trying to find a small flatbed, a couple of boxes were being carried at one time.Taking time to fold furniture covers (at my expense). Your company should have provided a flatbed. All this caused a 3to4 hour job to cost me $800.Moving the same items from Northern Idaho to Oxnard was only a total of $3,000.With all that said, you have an excellent, very hardworking employee in Austin. This young man deserves recognition.
