Everything! Office staff is efficient and responsive. I was kept up to date on all aspects of our move. The actual movers were exactly on time, super efficient and very polite. They loaded with care and went a little extra way because we could have packed things a little better. Meathead's office team knew just how to bid our job because it was exactly the right number of hours allocated. This is our second time to miss Meathead and other family members also use them.
I still wish you could move us long distance. We could just do furniture only.. the price you last quoted was 23,000. This seemed excessive? We were contacted by Rhino in Van nuys and did put a deposit down but do not trust them as high pressure. Also who do we contact to crate our oil painting?

The service was great. Alex Torres and Victor Nares (out of the Oxnard branch), our movers were great and professional. They were fun to watch...they would race each other back to the truck. They really hustled and my and husband and I were in awe what all they could lift/ carry to the truck at the originating end which was level ground but when we got to the destination end which had stairs.
The stair well wouldn't let the box spring part of the queen size bed be taken up that way so Victor went upstairs to the second level deck off the bedroom while Alex stayed downstairs and lifted the box spring up to the second level deck to Alex. They went ahead and did the queen size mattress, too.
I would use Meathead Movers again and would have Alex and Victor as our movers again.

They did not handle my items with care. Fragile things they turned upside down to “ build their wall”!! So things are broken, expensive things. They never even read on the boxes that they were fragile until myself and a friend told them. They took things apart but didn’t keep them together and put parts in two different trucks,ie: table top in one truck, legs in another truck. They did this with 2 desks also and each desk had multi parts. So finding everything to put them back together was difficult.
Also i had moving blankets on all items that could be damaged and most everything was wrapped. They did wrap some items i asked them too. But since i didn’t BUY your blankets they had me sign a waiver for no liability which i find unethical. Since i didn’t buy from you , you would not cover your packing the truck, that’s disgusting. Trying to hold people hostage. I have used regular moving companies for total moves and some for just packing and unloading and have never had that issue before. Also i have never had anything broken before until Now! The guys didn’t really care. A friend was here that use to own a packing service and he had to tell them to handle things with care and stop basically dropping them into the truck. Some expensive items were broken. Even the people who unpacked the truck were shocked how things were packed and they pointed out the broken items. Will never use you again and will tell anyone who asked not to either.
This was the easiest, stress free move we have done. From the first call for an estimate until the completion of the move, everyone so was nice and accommodating. I called back several times, first to reschedule then to add items, and each time everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful. The movers worked extremely hard and were very fast and efficient. I will definitely use Meathead Movers again!

The 2 crews that came to my house for the 2 moves recently were very efficient.

Everything went very smooth from beginning to end of our furniture move, as they were the previous two times. Movers were very respectful, responsible, and quick getting things done.
