Efficient, on time, friendly staff.
1) My appointment was for 10:30 AM, or at least this is what I was told from a phone conversation. My original appointment had been for earlier but was changed for later and I wrote it down on my calendar.
2) The Team arrived early at 9:30 not leaving me time to get gas in the truck and then charged me for the time it took to get that gas when I thought Jacky had told me she would not as I had previously told her I needed to get the gas and they had arrived early to the appointment. Apparently I was mistaken.
3) One team member could not stay off his cell phone and kept disappearing and not carrying boxes. This was told to me by the two older men I had hired to drive the Truck and assist with loading and off loading.
3) The team leader made several calls to the office and during this time all worked from her team stopped dead! No one picked up a box, literally.
4) What bothered me about these calls that Jacky made was that they regarded issues I had previously discussed with Sal and was assured that everything was okay and the information would be passed on to the team. Apparently, they were not and Jacky had to call regarding disassembling a medical and several other items, I think one was the stained glass?
5) By the 2 hour mark all young mean immediately slowed way down. So much so that the two old men I had hired asked me about it and why had the young men slowed down. I could seem the older men were running circles around the young men and you should be embarrassed.
6) So we got two loads in and completed with the help of the extra men I paid for, had I not had them I would have had to pay for a third trip that I should not have had to do. Please understand, I was willing to pay for a third trip and did need one, but not by a team of young men that deliberately slowed down just to get more money from me. Paying for good quality help is something I am more than willing to do, but I will not pay for those that cheat me. I was cheated and Yelp will be the first to hear of how I fee.

Both Dylan and Jason were very conscientious and hardworking. They appeared on time and were quite courteous. Dylan was especially careful of my mother's wooden floors, so she was quite impressed with him. She wanted their number just in case she ever moved -- unlikelye to happen, but it shows the level of recommendation I can give!!
Very safe, but efficient. I like the professionalism and enthusiasm of every crew I've used over the years.

My experience with Meathead Movers was stellar. The team arrived right on the scheduled time, with a crew that was ready to work. They, as advertised, ran between loading the truck and were able to quickly disassembly everything to be transported efficiently. I was able to request specific things throughout the day and anything they felt unsure about, they asked me before acting recklessly. Once we moved to the new house, they placed everything precisely where I expected and even when my wife and I changed our mind about the layout within rooms, they were able to quickly move things as needed. Next time we need to look for a move, we will look up Meathead Movers, for sure!

Our team showed up and informed us that they couldn’t complete the job. They stated they needed 2 more workers and a lift gate. They told us that they couldn’t finish until Tuesday, 4 days after our scheduled move.
After pressure from our staff, they ended up finishing the job.
