All the employees I dealt with were very professional, courteous, and all had a great attitude. The service was definitely an excellent experience. They loaded up on Wednesday in CA and my belongings were delivered to WA on Saturday. It was amazing when the truck was opened everything was in the exact location when they left…nothing broken! It was so nice to not have to lift heavy furniture, boxes or odds/ends heavy in size, up stairs. Eric and Matthew put everything where I asked them to. Definitely well worth the price which was reasonable for an intrastate move. Anybody looking for movers around the corner or another state, I highly recommend Meathead Movers.
Movers were very fast and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating ensuring all our items were properly and safely packed and tied down. My stuff travelled over 100 miles and didn't budge or shift at all!
Great teamwork and customer service!
Schedule move was delayed by 4 and 1/2 hours without notice! The initial crew of five consisted of 4 smaller individuals, two of which were petite young ladies. The "lead" was the only one capable of carrying a heavy load. Noticing the move would require more muscle, the lead called for additional help.
The moved appeared to have a lot of help but really, it only confused the movers. The crew leader would ask questions about the move only to have the actual working crew ask the same questions because either, they didn't understand or was communicated to them.
Of the "extra movers" provided, many spent a lot of time talking amongst themselves.
A lot of the conversations that could be heard were inappropriate. Lots of foul language.
The Lead displayed a fake professionalism, he too was frustrated with the move as I'm sure, it was thrown on him at the last minute and unexpected.
So far everyone I've dealt with has been amazingly pleasant and accommodating. Michelle was incredibly helpful with my original, complicated order, and the two young men who were just here were amazing, efficient and helpful. Couldn't have had a better experience.
The movers were on time, courteous, professional and very capable. We had a very good experience with the moving of our office. I would most definitely use them again.
The guys for my move-in were super professional and courteous. They were upfront about what they could and could not do. They worked quickly and were a huge help. I could not have done this job alone, so they were well worth the money.
My move was NOT COMPLETED! So much of my property was left behind! For me to move myself! I was advised the truck was full, and they would NOT complete the move. I sold my house the buyer is expecting his keys, and I spent all day yesterday attempting to complete my move. large items that can not fit in my car were left I can not lift! I should be cleaning today and yesterday for the buyer of my house, but again today I must complete my move MYSELF. I have to figure out how to get the rest of the large items moved. Six trips in my car so far back and forth added that make 12 trips so far and I still must finish my move. I was left with so much undone! My desk was broken, they fixed it but it broke because they did not take the top off before moving. Huge scratch/gash in my brand new dining table, that was not padded before the move, just my pool tale thing cover that was on it. All my shelves clocks lamps clothes and so much more left behind! I was charged for a complete move! I have attempted to contact the operations manager who was not available, I was told they would get back to me. I gave 10 review yesterday because the workers worked very hard, and I did not realize how much was left behind until I had to obtain assistance and pay extra to assist in my moving. I was told the move consisted a complete move. I was left hanging, and still today I have to move more of my property.

You show up as promised
we left about four boxes in the first house including the vacuum cleaner. It was disappointing that you would not connect the appliances. That suspicion was one reason I made arrangements for the refrigerator to be delivered separately. You are charging $100 a head and they are not allowed to connect appliances? Do shippers have to get their own help?
Will do as asked and work fast.
First of all no one likes to move. But Meathead Movers made it a great experience. I received a text message letting me know who will be on the team. That made feel at ease. Nice touch by the way. When they arrived they reiterated who they are. Alex and his team were a delight to work with! Kind and respectful. Highly recommend Meathead Movers.

Great service, strong, smart, friendly, movers. Prices are a little expensive.
The packing crew started well, seemed eager to get the job done, and did ask questions. No mention was made as to how long they would work or their a lunch period requirement. They did not use our boxes first, they did not number the boxes to match our rooms, and they did not make room in the kitchen or laundry area so we could check to insure they had packed everything. They team leader made a concerted effort to insure I knew he had "discounted" the job.
When the movers arrived we found an additional hour of packaging time. The packing team did not pack the cabinets in the laundry room, did not pack two drawers of utensils, did not pack the under sink items in the kitchen, did not pack items in the office, and the team leader violated my trust by trying to open a zipped closed item in the bedroom.
We were not happy.
My wife, Robin and I recently contracted with Meathead Movers to move heavy items from a San Luis Obispo senior apartment complex and into storage. Joe and Michael showed up on time and were very friendly and helpful. They carefully wrapped all items with protective padding. They then hand carried all items down two long hallways and a long outdoor ramp to reach their truck. They quickly unloaded most to the items into our storage unit before delivering a china hutch to friends in Arroyo Grande. No items were damaged and they completed the job in 3 hours. We highly recommend Meathead Movers.

Your services suit our approach to organization and moving practices. We used a similar, family brothers-started service in North Carolina. They had some tools which your guys were unfamiliar with: giant rubber bands and lifting harnesses (I will forward pix to you). Also, your very couteous, helpful, and strong young men were not wearing back protectors. I worried that they should.
Meathead Movers was very accommodating when I had to change our move date 3 times! They communicated well showed a genuine interest in serving our needs.
In addition the crew that completed our moved was efficient, polite and careful. I couldn’t ask for more! Thank you!
I used the Local Meathead Mover's in San Luis Obispo and Oxnard storage facility to move my graduated student home. In both locations I found the gentlemen who loaded and un-loaded my truck to be extremely motivated and knowledgeable. They were extremely personable and literally ran to and from the truck to put my stuff in storage and allow me to return my truck a day early!
I would highly recommend this company. By the way, I also contacted the customer service number and was always greeted by an enthusiastic person that was always willing to do whatever they needed to do to hep me with my questions and last minute changes and updates.
I can honestly say I can recommend these folks with confidence!
