We started bringing our three boys to Mathnasium early in the summer. Our hope was to help them get better at the math they were working on during the school year and perhaps surpass what the schools were teaching.
We have been 110% satisfied with our experience at Mathnasium so far. We get daily reports on what the boys have been working on in their study sessions. We love the individual attention the boys get and the non-electronic atmosphere. We also love that Mathnasium is teaching the boys how to do math, not how to use a calculator.
The learning environment is clean and free of distractions. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. They do not rush a "mastery" just to please a parent- I truly feel they wait for data before deciding whether a pupil fully comprehends the formulas they are teaching them before moving forward.
My kids enjoy the reward system built into the tutoring experience and are excited to tell me how many pages they completed and what they are working on.
I know when they are learning more math skills when they are there, then what they learn when they are in school. I am so grateful for Mathnasium and it's staff. Thank you!
