Member Testimonials
We swim laps in the pool and find the conditions so much better with Pier in the chair. He works all the time.
Relaxed atmosphere. Staff friendly and floor staff have been there a long time so they are familiar with people. Variety of ages.
Like seeing campers and basketball teams and that y reaches all ages.
Like that whatever the arrangement is, those with intellectual disabilities are welcome to come and work to take care of themselves.
I don’t do many classes; miss pound class
The weight room is great. I used to like the pool but I've gotten sick too many times with upper respiratory and skin infections to swim there anymore. Overall, however, we like the Y mission to help and be open to everyone. It's a truly community supportive place. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.
The group classes are great. Especially Sheri.
Enjoy the gym, it’s comfortable and convenient, it’s been a place we can spend time as a family.
Friendly staff and membership. Highly qualified trainer.
100% positive. As a new member I couldn't be happier. I recently hurt my neck and a tennis buddy suggested I swim, and he was right! I'm on the mend. I'm the first in the pool at 6:30. Adrian greets me with a smile and the pool staff are attentive and helpful. I'm now a YMCA fan!! Thank you.
Rob Reid.
A lot of programs & sports to choose
Overall this is a great facility. I think it’s a solid gym and the organization has pure intentions. They do a good job with children, specially via the ways they help underprivileged children.
Caring and friendly. Good instructors.
Good variety of classes offered.

I like the trainers, equipment, brightness of the gym.
However I DISLIKE the loss of a few circulating fans in the gym and the horrible hip hop music now being played constantly. NO ONE I speak to likes the music.
The clientele of your gym is decidedly ‘older’, and the music played should reflect the age of the majority of people working out. Hip Hop is NOT the preferred music of the majority of your gym membership.
There should also be more enforcement of gym policy and etiquette. Too many people leave the equipment unclean, weights on the equipment, or sit and tie up equipment while scrolling their phones. From my perspective, there is ZERO policy enforcement concerning equipment or proper gym etiquette.
