I love how every time I walk in and leave they greet me and say good bye. I love how smaller the gym is so it’s not as busy. It doesn’t feel corporate like at all, feels like a family.

It is very easy to attend classes and there is a variety of classes to attend. Also, they have a lot of equipment in the workout rooms. They have everything you could want.

I'm grateful for some of the changes that were made since I filled out this survey last summer. My biggest frustration with the gym at the Y sounded petty--that the TVs in the workout room were consistently set to far-right (Fox News) and far-left (MSNBC) news programming, which made the atmosphere in the workout room needlessly unpleasant. Over the past year, the TVs have been set to more innocuous channels, and the atmosphere in the workout room is much more pleasant. I'm also impressed by the amount of community events that YMCA seems to host. Youth sporting events. The pickleball leagues. Fitness classes for seniors. Blood drives. Raffles. It just seems like there's something always going on at the county YMCA, and, to me at least, it seems like people relate to it more as a community.

I enjoy my silver sneakers membership and the friendly faces i see at the Y

I have grandkids so we enjoy Camp Sherwin. The girls are getting swim lessons so we also enjoy the pool there and at Glenwood.

Love the yoga and water aerobic classes which I wish we could do all year long! My only complaint is the lack of pool and pickleball courts would be nice!

I attend water aerobics the M-W-F 915a classes. The instructors are great…. Smart, kind and motivating! I look forward to come to Glenwood Y (YMCA of my youth in the 1960/70s) each week. I’ve met some incredible people there!! Front desk staff are very welcoming.
