It's an important part of my life. The pool and hot tub and sauna keep my body limber and fit. As a senior citizen, that's very helpful. The warm water in the small pool is especially wonderful.
I appreciate the staff very much. They work hard to keep things flowing smoothly for us. And with all that they are still friendly. God bless them.
The Y is a great place to socialize and meet new people of all ages.. it's a stabilizing influence in today's nutty world. As long as the y is here, things must be ok!

Men's Health Center

The Downtown Y is very convenient for me. The staff are all very friendly. It has all the equipment I want to use. And the Men’s Heath Center is the best locker room in town.

Great people, wonderfully equipment, clean locker rooms, magnificent instructors. However, if you want to swim you'll have to go to Glenwood. Prior to COVID this place was the bomb!

Its close to home and the staff is very nice.

It is priced reasonably and it has more amenities than any other gym. It it family friendly and there is always a bee hive of activities going on all year long. I am incredibly grateful for the Y.M.C.A. Young Mens Christian Association. Thank you.

I like the Erie Downtown Y for reasons that don't have too much to do with the Y itself.

My Medicare Supplemental gives me a membership to the Y. The handball players will only play in the old plaster handball courts. So I go to the Downtown Y for handball.

To workout I go to Glenwood.

Friendly faces when I enter the building! Everyone says HELLO! I always enjoy my private workouts here. I love it!

I like that I get away from the house and actually am able to focus on myself and relax. This is my time away from work, house, a husband who has had 23 back and neck surgery. So this is my downtime.

I love the Y. I will continue to use my sneakers card. I cleaned out my locker after 30 yrs. I live in McKean and its a trip. I played handball for many years and the handball guys are old or dead. I am 77 and the Y is more of a social club at this point. See you soon, Mike

I love the convenience and the staff is friendly. It's kept well cleaned and the other members are generally friendly and considerate.

I enjoy receiving a towel just about every other day I am there because I normally get very sweaty when I’m in the sauna or steam room and I can’t forget about the boxing room which I also enjoy just as much as the weight room. There is so much to do so it’s hard not to enjoy the YMCA.
