Before Mathnasium, I had not found an extracurricular activity that my son did not argue about going to or sticking with. He is always ready to go and he is upset when the schedule changes and he can't go. I do not know if it is the staff (who are all great), the reward system, or a sheer love of doing extra math homework, but he is very happy and so am I. My younger daughter has started to ask if she can go as well, so we are starting to consider that as well.
My daughter started at a Grade 1 level in September (she's in Gr 4), and now in April, she has almost caught up to a Grade 4 level. Her confidence has increased, and she doesn't fight me to go to tutoring (she used to), and I think this is because she sees the difference herself in her math confidence.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Mathnasium Glebe. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping students build confidence and understanding and not just get through the work. Kyle, the owner, is very approachable and attentive, always making time to listen and support families. It’s a welcoming, well-run centre that really feels like an extension of your support system. I was extremely happy with the way that Kyle was able to identify areas of strength in my daughter’s knowledge base and focused on that as well as providing meaningful support for her lagging skills. We are happy with her progress and with the team at the centre
It did work well for my child and she has gained confidence in maths. They are providing individual learning for each child based upon his/ her level and ability. It is a friendly yet professional environment.

Engaging instructors, fun lessons for students
The staff at Mathnasium do an amazing job of making math fun through incentives and one on one attention. My 9 year old son goes twice a week, never argues and even looks forward to it. It has been so helpful to improve key math concepts he will need to move forward in his schooling.
