The curriculum and activities
We have been going to Little Sunshine's for 8 years... first, our eldest son all 5 years, and then our twins who are graduating soon. The thought of not driving there anymore is SO SAD! You've been so good to us, we are filled with gratitude for the care you have given our children.
I had my daughter here for three years plus multiple drop in days when she went to GA funded pre-k, her little sister will also attend this year! They take great care of my kids and it's a huge help for me!
Teachers who care and are very creative with activities being fun, interactive, and educational. I like that the kids aren’t doing the same things everyday and go outside often.
We’ve been part of the LSP family for 6 years. It’s hard to choose just one favorite memory because there have been so many special moments over the years—from receiving each of our kids’ first pieces of artwork to hearing them come home excited to tell us something new they learned that day. What we love most about LSP is that our kids get to grow up surrounded by people we trust—people who have truly become an extension of our family.
The teachers and staff, along with Traci and Tonya, have been there cheering us on through so many milestones—from helping us navigate parenthood with our firstborn to relearning how to parent with our wild-child second. 🙃 They’ve celebrated every milestone right alongside us, making us feel supported every step of the way. Knowing our kids are loved, encouraged, and cared for each day has meant more to us than we can put into words.
We don’t have one specific standout memory, but we’re incredibly grateful for the countless little moments that have made LSP feel like home for both our children and our family.

The staff makes the program. They are caring and put effort into what they do. The facility is well maintained and they address any issues right away. The level of communication is far above other schools. They listen to the needs of the child, and find ways to work with the child's strengths. They welcome input from all sources to help each child truly grow and learn.

As a first time mama, it was very daunting and scary to leave our little one in someone else’s care! The staff at Little Sunshine’s has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and send updates all day which makes me feel so much better about starting daycare! We are very happy we chose Little Sunshine’s!
Love LSP - been there 4 years and excited to transition to pre-K. Love to see my little one learning and how much she is loved there. She loves her friends and teachers, too.
The environment
I like how tuned in to what my son needs on a daily basis .
I know my son is truly loved. His teachers are always happy to see him and excited to tell me about his day. They keep us connected all day so I know he is being well taken care of and reaching important milestones.
Both of our girls have gone there. One will go to kindergarten soon while the other will start first grade. For my oldest, she is far above her peers due to the education and creative learning the she received. It helped her socially (even though she is a social butterfly at birth), and she learning about friendships, feelings, and practical skills. My youngest is a a bit more shy, but because of her well rounded socialization and learning opportunities with peers, now she to can go into any room with confidence, at 4! To me, it’s the best preschool in all of Colorado Springs. And they take childcare aware!!!!
The staff are very thoughtful and care about the children. I like how they focus on each individual child and their development as opposed to their age.
As a parent, there’s no greater peace of mind than knowing your child is happy, safe, and genuinely loved while you’re at work. From the moment my son started at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, I knew he was in the right place. The teachers and staff have created such a warm, nurturing environment where he feels comfortable, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.

I am very happy the Creve Coeur location now. It was a rough road the first 2 years with all the turn over but it seems like there is finally some stability. The staff is so nice and my daughter loves the school.
LSP has been such an amazing place for Jai to grow and learn. Over the 4 years we have been there each classroom provided a nurturing and structured environment. The teachers and staff are just the best! Although our son will miss being there when he graduates, his little sister can’t wait to join soon!
From the moment we walk in the door, we know that our daughter will be well cared for that day. Not only her teachers, but everyone in the building is kind, welcoming, knowledgable and ready to help with any questions or concerns that I have. We love that her day is filled with joy, laughter and activities that is shaped according to her current development level.
We absolutely love Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool! Our daughter, Charlie, has been attending since she was an infant and is now in the toddler classroom. Watching her grow and thrive there has been such a wonderful experience.
Every teacher she has had along the way has been caring, patient, and genuinely invested in her development. They create such a warm, nurturing environment where she feels safe, loved, and excited to learn. It’s clear they truly care about each child.
One of the best feelings as a parent is knowing your child is happy when you drop them off, and Charlie genuinely looks forward to going to school every day! She comes home smiling, talking about her day, and continually learning new things.
We love LSP! The teachers are great with my 8 month old. His activities include circle time, water days, painting/arts and crafts, story time, learning about various subjects like sports, the outdoors, animals, sea life, fine art, etc. Us parents receive real-time updates via the app and it's always great to see when baby is playing, eating, getting a diaper change, napping, etc. Huge thanks to the front office staff and the teachers: Ms. Lexie, Ms. Lupe, Ms. Angie and Ms. Esme!
The teachers truly love what they do! And of course they love the kids!
