My daughter had a lot of fun learning how to play and playing with friends

My kid enjoyed the camp. Having the two sports was nice to break it up. One of them in the gym was nice to give them a heat break. Thanks for everyone’s hard work this summer!

Only recs would be providing the paper with their team color/names much earlier in the week and providing names/bios/photos of camp counselors. Even if you send one big document to all camp families at the beginning of the summer, it just helps families feel better about knowing who their kid is with.

Additionally, for future camp ideas: would love to see a craft/art camp, acting/music camp, and volunteer/community-type camp.

I don’t think your licensing allows, but a half day camp for 5 year olds would be amazing.

A half day morning one-off camp option would also be helpful. Like you could sign up for one day of a speciality or sport camp.

My son always has so much fun, counselors are kind and good at handling any bullying/bad behavior. They keep it positive and fun for all. My son doesn't even like.sports but loves the sports camps bc of the fun atmosphere the Y creates for the kids. Thank you!

This is the second year my boys went to the summer camp (sports and specialty) at the Midlothian Y and they had a great time! The staff is professional, helpful and great with the kids. Communications are great. We will be back again next year!
