After reading the reviews on this driveshaft (5073.1 * CV Drive Shaft | Rear | 3.5-6 Inch Lift | Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4WD (12-18)), I was excited to make the purchase from your company. I was not able to take the jeep out and drive it on the highway before I left on a trip to Moab. This is a trip my wife and I make every year and is a big deal for us and our friends. After driving on the highway for about an hour at 75 mph, my wife said we were turning around and not going due to the amount of vibration coming through the floor and making her feet numb. We ended up canceling our trip and losing money on the hotel and not being able to enjoy our yearly offroad trip. I removed the driveshaft and took it to a local driveline shop and asked him to take a look at it and balance it if needed. When I went back to pick it up, I was shocked at what he had to say. First of all, when I received the delivery, the box had damage, the paint on the shaft was scraped up and there were no weights attached for balancing. The driveline shop brought me out the driveshaft and explained that it was extremely out of balance, the shaft was not straight, and the universal joints were out of phase from one end to the other. He did his best to balance and straighten the driveshaft, but was unable to get the u-joints in phase due to the product being fabricated incorrectly. This was an added expense to the process and lost time on my part and only to find out that the driveshaft that I ordered was wrong and going to wear out prematurely and probably still have a vibration due to faulty fabrication. Overall I have been extremely disappointed with this product. The loss of time with my family and friends on our yearly Thanksgiving trip and the loss of time and money trying to make my jeep driveable again has been a complete disaster. I would love to share the pictures I have of this driveshaft if you care to see them. I hope this is read and someone cares. I would love for your company to try and make this right so I can tell people that you stand behind your products and don't leave people hanging.
