Customer Testimonials
They are organized, start and end on time, actual referees
I love how organized it is, especially compared to other other programs we have went through in town! Also how every child is included because it’s not just about winning, It’s about learning too.
I9sports has provided a good platform for the kids to start to discover themselves regarding how to cooperate with the team, how to win the game, and how to lose the game.
Family participation and coach’s enthusiasm
The program lives up to its tagline: sports as it should be. The emphasis is on learning to play well and sportsmanship. Mike is exceptional!
Organized, friendly
Great coaches and environment for developing sportsmanship for the youth in the community. Our family will be back for another season!
Great program! The training was outstanding and the coaches were wonderful.
Place for kids of all skill sets to come and play!!
It's design. Made for introduction to sports for young athletes or beginning athletes.
Great coaches, very organized!
My daughter is having so much fun because she is learning in a positive atmosphere where the coaches are encouraging and wanting everyone to try their best. It is a great place for youth sports and we will be coming back.
The programs are great, I'm very happy with my son's coaches this season.
However, I noticed other coaches are not as knowledgeable, and do not partake as a coach as I'd like to see. I suggest that ALL your coaches across the board provide actual coaching of the game, its basics, the discipline, etc and not just a supervisory role. I understand the sports provided are not competitive by all means -- but coaches should have a better thought out game plan for practice and games; providing not only warm up (which is important); but some actual instruction on how to play the actual game itself. (drills, basic, routes, etc)
I like the commitment of only being one day a weekend and having the practice right before the game.
We enjoy that the games are the same day as the practice.
Affordable price, my daughter has benefited from a very friendly and fun environment.
Friendly atmosphere and our Coach was great!
The small teams, practice and game on same day.
The location (Maywood) and having it be only one day a week. Great for an intro to basketball.
Awesome
I love that they run year round and that they only required 1 day a week of commitment. Most other programs feel like a full-time job.
Very encouraging! Great skills
Staff in West Chester is AMAZING; communication via email is top notch; just an overall great program and run/managed so well! Thank you!!
Great!
An organized basketball league.
Very positive, well organized. Good at teaching new skills to the participants
Everything , about the structure and the communication of the organization it is very easy and fun for both parents and kids
I think everything is great. I think the 830am games is way to early for the 4/5yr old kids. Being at practice by 8am on a Sunday I feel bad. Half the kids half asleep
If the games can be at 9 or after would be great. I know the gym availability is a possible issue. But a helpful suggestion.
Like the preparation and training the kids is fun. Would like some cones and equipment if possible to help with the training before games
I might be biased because I am a coach. This is my 2nd season coaching baseball with I9. Prior to this season beginning, I saw my roster of only 5 players and thought "that's odd". Once my season began, I understood 5 is actually perfect for Rookies/Coach Pitch. We've been playing indoors, and that's greatt since winter outdoors would be rough! The whole experience from management, site coordination, and organization has been terrific! I also coach for a local little league, and it's shocking how disorganized that program is. Especially when I9, can operate so smoothly for such a short season. It's very rewarding as a coach to have players succeed, and I9 has been great a boosting EVERY child's happiness, skill, and confidence.
Because we are playing indoors, there is no outfield, which makes 5 positions, ideal. The downside of indoor baseball, is that there is basketball practice right next door to us, with no divider wall for safety. Normally this would not be an issue, except there have been SEVERAL near misses of basketball players getting hit by the batter swinging. Not to mention they constantly run through our games to use the bathroom, or basketballs roll into the baseball game. I'm just fearful of injuries from both sports as they play together. In the future, I'd recommend keeping the 2 sports separate somehow. Not sure if more enrollment is needed so that 2 baseball games be played or a time difference, to set them apart more.
I count myself lucky to have this opportunity for winter ball, and am looking forward to spring baseball!
PS. Skyla (the I9 coach for the other team) has been great to work with. She obviously never played baseball, but I am happy for her team to have her as a volunteer coach. Otherwise they might not get a chance to play. She's been very receptive when I offer advice/feedback on training for her team. Her positivity and sense of leadership shows, and her team has lots of smiles as well.
