Customer Testimonials
All students play and are acknowledged weekly.
Less pracrtice nights, kind and supportive atmosphere, accepting of all skill levels.
I think it's a fantastic place for kids to feel comfortable trying new sports!
Helps children learn good sportsmanship. Basic skills in a game. How to handle winning and losing. Help kids to understand I'm playing a sport is more than just winning and losing and no matter what you keep playing hard and keep trying to improve.
The coaches really care about the kids and their success
Practice and games combined in one session. On weekends only. Coaches communicate thoroughly. Weather delays/cancellations are communicated clearly. Refs are generally awesome! Other i9 reps present are friendly and approachable.
Don’t like the snacks after the game. Costs parents a lot and don’t feel like the kids need/eat them.
When I first signed up I assumed all the practice/games would be at the same time. Would be good to give new participants a heads up that the session times vary weekly and to check the schedule.
An easy, very accessible way to get klds involved and exposed to a sport!
Well organized and quality coaches
Everything takes place on a weekend. Working full time during the week does not provide practice during the week.
I love the positive encouragement from the coach.
I like that the sessions are a close together allowing for a short break but not long enough to forget what they have learned.
The schedule, the inexpensive price and the principles i9 builds upon weekly
I like that the practices are before the games and on the weekends. My daughter plays both soccer and volleyball Saturday and Sunday so it makes it a little easier than having to rush to get her to practices during the week and then games also on the weekend.
I like that the practice and game are on the same day. It's low pressure but fun. The kids are still learning good skills.
The coaches are extremely talented.
Straightforward
Practice and games on the same day.
That everything is one day a week
Love flag football at Aztec!
We’ve had a great experience with this youth basketball league. It is well organized, responsive, and clearly values sportsmanship and teamwork. Communication is strong, and the overall environment is positive and supportive for the kids.
One area for improvement could be offering more guidance or resources for parent coaches, many of whom are committed but not formally trained in basketball. This could further enhance the quality of practices.
Overall, a strong, well-run league that we would happily recommend.
It's been a wonderful experience, very organized and convenient to be a part of!
I really love that there is a motivation to focus on team playing and sportsmanship instead of winning over everything. I've coached for i9 as well and I really appreciate that you put together a practice outline. That was so helpful!
I do sometimes wish the teams were more even in talent and skills. Sometimes you will have a really great team and a not so great team which hurts morale. But I don't know a great solution for this.
The staff is amazing
I like that practice and games are scheduled together.
Very nice and supportive couches ! Thanks couch Elise Tesfu
We’ve had such a great experience with this basketball program for kids ages 8–10. The coaches are encouraging, patient, and really focus on teaching fundamentals while keeping it fun. You can see the confidence and teamwork building each week. It’s a well-organized program that truly cares about player development and sportsmanship. Highly recommend for any parent looking to get their child involved in basketball in a positive environment.
Que las niñas pueden aprender nuevas técnicas , divertirse a la vez y hacer nuevas amigas
Love it! Very organized and fun! Super satisfied.
1 day commitment- great opportunity to try new/different sports
Well organized and fun.
The low key atmosphere. It is not competitive and gives the kids the opportunity to learn the sport without the pressure of winning.

I really like that the divisions are split up by age and there's a mix of experience levels within the divisions. I think it's very helpful for the kids to play with people at different levels because they get to learn new skills from their teammates. I also like that practice has been broken down into skill categories. Building a great foundation is essential to being a great player. Having the kids focus on honing different skills helps them when it's game time. The coaches are enthusiastic, they're patient and encouraging, and they're taking time to really get to know the players.
