Great fun and a good atmosphere for my kids to learn baseball. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a fun time and not being overly competitive. My one ask would be that we have more baseballs to practice with as at times it seems to be lacking in the amount of balls. But really its a great program that i would strongly recommend.
i9 has been a great entryway into the team sports program for my 5-year-old.
The coaches have been amazing! Coach Ryan was very kind and great with my son! The practice and games are done professionally, they are punctual and there is enthusiasm from all the staff. Shaved Ice at the end is the icing on top! Thanks so much for a great season of soccer!
Encouraging, informational and fun
Awsone program and great coaches.
We love everything about it! We love that is only once a week for practice and games, we love that it’s on a Sunday afternoon so doesn’t interfere with school or work. We love that we have gotten to play with so many of our friends. We love our coach Brooke. We love the snow cones after our games. We love it all!
We are enjoying our experience!
Nice/appropriate mix of teaching the fundamentals of football---but realizing that they're only 1st graders, lol.
IMO, 1. teach a love of the game; 2. teach them the skills; 3. they're still kids so let it develop naturally; honorary #4. losing/being humbled sucks, but that's how you get better, lol
i9 does all four!
seamless workflows on your website and great experience for my kid
I loved having practice and the game togheter. I loved how the kids got to learn so much, and have fun with little pressure. I also really apprciated how close the field was to our home. We also had an amazing coach!
Flexibility in schedule, good coaches, easy schedule-no long practices or week day practices.
Family friendly and the young coaches have patience.
Great emphasis on learning and teamwork, while still having fun. One day a week schedule works well for busy parents. Overall a great program!
Well organized, appreciate the same time practice/games weekly.
Love that everything is on one day. Also the learning atmosphere, with no pressure for the kids.
1. One day/week commitment
2. High quality coaches
3. geographic proximity
In a word, the "coach". Sean McAdam is the reason for the continued return of my children for the 4th or 5th time, and many of the kids on our team that return each season. I have witnessed firsthand how many of the kids went from no understanding of the game, and in some cases, no ability to catch, throw, or hit the ball, to making complicated plays that include fielding the ball and getting it to the appropriate base for a forced out, completing double plays by tagging a base for a forced out and throwing to a second base for a forced out, as well has growth in decision making on the field and a better command of the rules of baseball that were completely foreign to nearly all the players initially. This is all possible due to Sean's ability to assess each player's aptitude and then coach to that individual player's skill level. He challenges each player just beyond their current level, stretching their ability and showing the player that they can achieve the next step. While this occurs in small chunks, the increase in self-confidence that each player has displayed is phenomenal. Kids that would become frustrated to the point of tears at being unable to hit the ball just a season or two ago, or become very upset when tagged out, now can't wait for their turn at bat, and when tagged out, walk off the field with their head held high! This is precisely what team sports should accomplish, and it takes a measured, situationally aware coach to balance the line between challenging the player at their individual level while ensuring they remain confident that they "can" do it.
Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The kids have a safe environment to learn new sports and grow in them.
I 9 sports is awesome. They give personal touch and attention to every kids. Also, they teach sportsmanship and team spirit which is very important to young kids.
Love the easiness of the program, training and game at the same day and location too!
The programs are well organized and information is communicated very well! We love I9 sports!
Awesome time! Great coaches
Only a few practices and games run smoothly
We’ve had a great experience with I9. They learn the basic skills and rules of the game and promote great sportsmanship.
This is great for families that want to get their kids involved with sports but are looking for a less competitive environment.
I think opening day would be much more organized if coaches checked in 10 minutes before start time and were sent to their field and then all families checked in and were given their shirts and sent to their coach/field vs doing a willy nilly role call.
Practice plans for volunteer coaches are really helpful and should be shown as an example when asking for volunteers. I would've been quicker to raise my hand to coach if I knew it the plans were provided.
Low competition, focus on values
I like the structure of practice and games. It’s simple yet exciting for the kids.
The practice and game on the same day. Great coaching!
The coach are very friendly and they actually educate about the sport

It allows a 12 year old with no experience to play on a team with others of similar skill. I find it frustrating that at this age kids are so "specialized" they can never try something new. The coaches to a great job of keeping it fun, and I appreciate the emphasis on the families being kind during the games.
