We love Y sports! Our Y ball coach, Kayla, did an amazing job teaching the kids in a way they understood and kept things positive and fun, which helped the players make lots of progress throughout the season. Kim does an awesome job running the sports programs and keeping things focused on the kids.
Friendly staff, silver sneakers classes
The place is clean. The machines, the floor, bathrooms, and the vents. Ladies are nice that work there. I haven't did any of the classes, yet. But it has your tv to watch if you want to, or just watch your I Pad. Nice place to be.
Everyone is pleasant and helpful. It’s clean and plenty of activities for everyone
Clean and friendly
I love my work out group, they are very friendly and brook and Ann are very good instructors.
Great place, friendly staff, and excellent programs for all ages.

Friendly staff, clean facility
The people are so nice at our YMCA.
The teaching is great and set at a good pace.
Everyone is very friendly.
The teachers are firm but kind, knowledgeable and very patient. All 3 of my kids have learned a lot in just a few weeks!
Enjoy. Pool& walk track
It is a great place to work
Friendly greeters @ front desk, staff willing to stop what they are doing to help you with a machine, show you correct use of machines. Everyone is so friendly. Everything is clean. Proper use of WET signs during this messy weather. I look forward to going to the CC YMCA.
We love our instructor, Dawn! She makes exercising so fun! We also love all 5he people there. They are so kind, friendly and helpful!
We love the friendly staff!Being able to make team accommodations, having a safe venue in a great location and having an auxiliary location are super convient. We love that we have access to the pool often and child watch. In the future we would love to see more basketball courts, with more seating and a larger indoor track. We love the family restrooms because we have a son and a daughter, so I feel comfortable taking the kids alone to change out of swim clothing. There are a lot of programs to choose from and a lot of child watch opportunities. We love our YMCA!
I feel comfortable here and the staff is super helpful.
All the classes that the Y has to offer. Love the 24 hr access.
I like the line dancing class! Really fun and a good 45m workout. Folks are very welcoming.
Random ideas, since I have you--
I want to try the harder bang the drum class, too (boom i think?), but it sounds from the catalog to be much harder. Some other Ys have 45-60m regular BTD classes where they stand and sit for equal parts of it (or you can sit the whole time as you need). That means it has a bit more fun chroeo for everyone and better aerobic workout, but not crazy.
I would like to try the newer weight machines downstairs, but I am a little intimidated to just start, as I've not lifted in a gym in decades, and those didn't exist. Would be fun to have a tour or something you can sign up for? Maybe there is one, haven't checked...will do!
I would **love** a corner with more pilates style mat equipment and big stretching mats everyone can access, even outside of one of the classes. Things like bosu, yoga balls (like are in the dance room) and bands, balance boards/pads, 1-10lb smaller hand weights. I think they are mostly locked in the group room, if you have any (or you don't want to intrude class). There's no pilates anywhere in CC, not surprisingly, but lots of people, especially women and older folks like its benefits (and maybe can't do heavy weightlifting but can do more than the classes or want to workout alone/different times). It also matches what a lot of folks do in Physical therapy in most clinics, so it's good to have access to some of those tools daily. The one at Jorgenson and up on st joe center is very busy all the time.
Finally, I have a big vote for considering flattening the track as a capital project. Embankments are ok for fast runners, but can be really bad for hips and SI joints, especially if you are only ever able to go on a day that keeps you facing in a single direction. I miss walking in the winter because my joints can't handle the pretty constant tilt.
Love the chance to use the Y, thanks for hearing some ideas!
Exercise classes, weight area, special classes and the people.
Great Gym to train at,
I’m starting the Rock steady class and have had a good experience so far. Thx.
Kaitlin and Demi are a dynamic duo. Handling basketball + swim lessons + regular gymgoers + yoga + the phones on Saturday mornings is not for the faint of heart. Hats off to them.
Seems to be a friendly place to workout. The employees have always been helpful.
Friendly staff and a clean well maintained facility.
Staff was awesome.
