The pool is well designed.and maintained. Very well staffed too.
We live close to the Parkview YMCA but drive to Jorgensen for the outdoor pool in the summer. The whirlpool is the family favorite part, and the slide is fun when open.
I bring my grandchildren to the outdoor pool in the summer. The lifeguards do a great job of watching everyone and speak politely to everyone while enforcing the rules. The pool area is kept clean and nice. The pool offers an area for everyone. In a way I would like to keep it a secret to keep the pool from becoming overcrowded. Its best to go early because it does get crowded in the afternoon.

I really enjoy the outdoor pool.
I do wish that we had the option to use the indoor locker rooms without having to walk around the building to the front entrance.
I understand that they would like to keep the locker rooms from getting too busy, but with only one shower/dressing stall in the outdoor bath house, it is difficult if you have to get showered and dressed after swimming.
As soon as you walk in, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The Y is one of favorite places, I always enjoy going there.
Love this Y, the child watch, swim lessons, and the gym itself are all great!

I love it there
We always have a great time. We have 7 children and feel very safe taking our kids here for some pool time outdoors.
We did have an issue- 3 of my boys went down the water slide repeatedly, and those three all ended up with fiberglass on their feet. You could see it in the tops of their feet, and it gave them itchy, burning rashes. Life guards were very helpful, and held remove fiberglass w duct tape and apply burn cream. I do hope that this can be addressed and fixed as the slide is a highlight of the pool.

Enjoyed the outdoor pool. It was so crowded though! But the lifeguards were wonderful! They were all VERY attentive and I felt like my kids were safe.
Facility is clean, well maintained. Good equipment. Staff friendly, courteous, informed and professional. I enjoy exercise classes and have made friends there. Parking lot car break ins have been a concern. Difficult problem to solve. I continue to use Y multiple times a week though, just more careful.
I live close to the Lehman Y and usually go there for the Balance and Stability class. However last week my daughter in law invited me to go with her to the chair Yoga class at the Jorgensen Y. I enjoyed both these classes Unfortunately they are both offered at the same time. I will probably go to Lehman Y since it's closer to home. I am excited to try the outdoor pool at Jorgensen. It looks amazing.
