So many friendly faces to make you feel special. Deb, who keeps everything organized and clean for us is one of the most giving and valuable people that the YMCA Jorgensen has on staff. She deserves a raise and an employee of the year award. She goes out of her way for anyone and gives her very best.

A good experience w/the pool & the life-guatds rated 10 in terms of professionism & being friendly. Easy access to the pool as a YMCA member & very appreciated of this particular service as yhe heat is extreme!.
I am from out of the Ft wayne area and had a few meeting to attend at local schools. I was able to enjoy the Outdoor pool facilities at Jorgensen's.
Not only was it refreshing but being outdoors during lap swim was so exhilarating.
I just wish the pool could be open for another week or two or until things start to cool down.
I also understand it takes alot of manpower to keep facilities like this available to the public.
Thank you and since pools keep closing earlier every year this outdoor opportunity was wonderful

Fantastic outside pool area and inside facility. The aqua exercise class instructors are good. I would rank this facility a ten if it had more dressing rooms in the locker room and if some of the adult aqua exercise classes didn't take place in such deep water

The instructor was very friendly and I felt comfortable getting my almost two year old son accustomed to the water. I have learned a lot of new things to help him continue to learn to swim.

The climbing staff is very kind and patient. I hope we can try climbing everyday. (We can not try it everyday because sometimes nobody is there for climbing)
The swim class teacher is very competent to improve my kid's swimming skills. But the water temperature in the indoor pool seemed a little low because I saw every kids shook their body when they got out of the water even in the summer.
Adaptive programming we have attended at this facility has been wonderful!
The staff remembers my kids names and appear genuinely excited when they greet them.
The staff seem to engage with the kids and not just sit back and wait till the kids do something wrong and then yell at them. That’s a huge divide in childcare.
The flexibility of the facility works for one of the best Ys in the Fort Wayne area. of course, all of this is secondary to the excellent staff that meets the clients at whatever level they have an inquiry
