Joe Boyd was a pleasure to work with! Very professional and no matter what crazy ideas we through at him he was unphased and said they’d figure it out and get it done. Christian was also amazing, what an artist and talented person. He made us the most incredible hood we’ve ever seen! Our kitchen is stunning and we owe it all to Joe and his team!

The attention to details without question was a plus for me. The crew was amazing . I can’t say enough good things about Jessica she keeps everything operating around the office with so much poise & patience . What I valued the most was the team's responsiveness. Everyone took calls quickly and responded to any questions that I had. Devin, who managed my project, texted me with updates, let me know when he was on his way and actually showed up on time. (My husband and I had a prior contractor experience that was just the opposite). Finally, the workmanship and the attention to detail was much higher than what I expected. The process was quite easy and Joe made us feel great every step of the way. Communication was above and beyond during the process. Everyone who worked in my kitchen was friendly and knowledgeable. If something didn’t look right, they fixed it immediately. We throughly enjoyed having the team over, both Jared and Monroe were our primary guys and both worked professionally and left the kitchen tidy even in a construction environment. Some contact workers were just as great, including the tile guy Daniel, the electrician and painters. If and when we decided to remodel our master bath we know who we’ll be calling.

After researching and screening a number of general contractors we decided to go with Kitchen Tune-Up (KTU) because of Devin Friar who was our General Contractor. Devin’s professionalism, accountability and down to earth personality drew us to pick him from the long list of contractors. We were concerned with the cost, quality, and timeframe, we are glad Devin walked us through each step of the process, the cost was realistic compared to a long list of competitors, he even suggested that I go through another contractor for a cheaper price and shorter timeframe. Devin’s detailed communication through email, text and in person was reassuring that we had the right team to finish the job. Our Kitchen remodel involved resurfacing cabinets, installing a new island, a wet bar with two floating shelves, a new cabinet over the fridge, dry walling a voided space, resurfacing fireplace with shiplap, and painting the whole house interior. Project was estimated to complete within 4 weeks, project was completed in 6 weeks and we are happy with the results. The kitchen cabinet resurfacing turned out impressive, the quality of paint and craftsmanship was outstanding, our 20 year old cabinets looked brand new. Our color choice was Sherwin Williams “Pure White” with black handles and new hardware. The wet bar was an old cabinet relocated to the kitchen and KTU transformed it to a functional and beautiful area. KTU installed a new island that increased the countertop space, allowing room for a new microwave drawer, and a new pullout trash compartment. We also had our fireplace resurfaced with Sherwin Williams Tricor Black paint that matched the shiplap installed over the fireplace and natural oak floating mantle. Mantle was purchased through Amazon, and KTU did a great job installing. Initially I was concerned with their capability of painting a 3K sqft house interior, especially for a kitchen remodel company, but their team took care of my house and ensured every area was covered consistently. We used the same cabinet color for our interior walls and it turned out great. KTU impressed me when they noticed an imperfection with our finished cabinet doors, they quickly took action to make it perfect. Overall my wife and I are very, very, very pleased with Devin and his KTU team. They went over and beyond our expectations in their craftmanship and willingness to please their customers. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a kitchen remodel team.
