Staff who work the front desk are super friendly and welcoming. Instructors are talented and are experts in the areas they teach. Special shout out to Romain Marriott who is inclusive and welcoming to everyone who attends her classes. She makes an effort to get to know each person name and welcomes back with kindness each time. When Romain teaches, she walks everyone thru the muscle groups she is targeting and works with individuals on their form for safety and max benefit purposes. She is excellent!
An area that really needs attention is with the elliptical machines. More than half were removed when the cardio floor was "updated" and were not replaced. I tend to do my workouts in the early mornings and more than half the time I'm there all 4 ellipticals are in use preventing me from using the cardio equipment that works best with what my body needs. The current ellipticals are also no longer connected to the TV channels which seems like an easy fix, but has not been addressed. Several members are quite frustrated with the lack of attention in this area so I'm hoping (and others are too) more people are voicing their frustration and additional ellipticals are coming.

We LOVE our Taylor Family YMCA after school experience at Laurel Park Elementary School. The counselors have been above-and-beyond...not to mention a huge positive influence on our children's lives'. 10/10
Friendly staff, clean facility, enough space in the pool for every activity.
I like there are There are many classes to choose from. However, I don't like that most of the time it's hard to get a place in a class. You have to rush to sign up. It shouldn't need to be be like that since the membership is not cheap. I feel I should be able to take most any class I want without having to rush to sign up in the first 10 min available.
We have had such a positive experience with the after school program. All of the counselors are friendly and communicative. Concerns were openly addressed and handled appropriately. And our daughter had fun and was well cared for.
enjoyed my time at the pool, nice to have shady spots in the water, and cannot wait to come back go down the slide!

This is a great facility with a wonderful staff. I love the cardio floor but also think the class selection offers something for everyone. My grandchildren love the pool and splash pad.

Great program
Summer 2024-
This is my child's first year at the Day Camp-Camp Rising Su. She is having a blast and making new friends. I would recommend this camp to others. Kudos to YMCA staff and camp members.

My granddaughters both love going to camp! The counselors are just as excited and perky at 5 PM as they are at drop off in the morning! Lots of fun activities!

The energy and engagement of the counselors is 2nd to none. Phenomenal people who know how to connect with kids and model great values while being Fun!
The Y has a congenial atmosphere. It has a variety of a equipment, but I would like someone available to help more with instructions on how to use the equipment properly. I like the fact that it offers a variety of classes.
