Greetings - I mainly use the steam room when I visit the NWC YMCA. It would be great if I get email updates/alerts whenever it is not working that way it will save me time and avoid driving up to the Y only to find out the steam room is under repair. Also, the Taylor Family Y had taken precautions to seal the sensors in the steam room, so folks don't try to tamper it. Timer in the steam room needs to be adjusted because each time the steam is turned on it takes about 60-90 seconds for it to turn off and reset. In the NWC Y, it turns off in less than 30 seconds. It is important to safeguard the equipment and ensure the timer is set appropriately, so members can actually benefit from using the steam room. Thank you for your immediate attention.

Jee’s Zumba class was great as always. I enjoy her usual mix plus new songs. The group that usually go make a great caring community. The studio upstairs tends to run on the hot side especially during these hot summers. I wish the large fans can be used like the ones downstairs!

I was also given a complete tour by a third person whose name I have forgotten, and she was also a wealth of information!

We enjoy the pool! I am not really sure why we have the 10 min break between hours - It just make kids more unhappy.

the pool facilities are very good and staff are friendly
Friendly staff and nice facilities with one exception. I primarily play racquetball there. It’s very hot and humid in that area. Typically the humidity is around 63% and 70 degrees in there but one day last week it was 74% humidity and 73° back there. we were dripping with sweat soon after walking into the racquetball court, which part of the reason we do this is because it’s so hot outside. There's only one air duct that goes into each racquetball court. It would be really nice if at least there was a fan outside the net (viewing area) that would circulate the air in there. You will notice that when leaving the racquetball hall and you enter that other hallway where there’s cubbies and laundry and a staff office it’s probably 10° cooler in that hallway alone. Seeking cool or at least less humid air. Thanks for asking for comments.

Enjoy using the track and treadmill. Great to be able to exercise inside on a hot summer or winter day. Great staff!
