Thank you for approving our family request for financial assistance. We otherwise would not have been able to afford membership at the YMCA, and we at extremely grateful. I’m very happy with the Kerr Family YMCA. It’s a clean facility with good people, and a family friendly environment. I am also happy to see that this is a place where people with physical disabilities and mental handicaps are welcomed and accommodated. I took all of these things for granted when I used my parents membership as a teenager, but as adult now I genuinely feel good there from the minute I walk in to the minute I leave. You also have a very well set up fitness center. The equipment is new or in good condition, and it was planned and placed well.
I will always recommend the YMCA as the best option for families or fitness enthusiasts.
It's like my second home. I know all the friendly folks that work there . I've been a member of the Y forever, just about.
All you need to do to make it perfect is solve the problem with those 2 machines that came in and worked for a day and a half.

We were members years ago and came back due to UNC health closing. Unfortunately we didnt receive a discount and missed the one day sign up fee waiver by a day. Would have been much happier to have waived that feek

It is a beautiful facility. I have found the staff very friendly. The parking is a bit of a problem when it's a busy time of day but I'm trying to determine the best time for me to attend.
