Variety of classes
Friendly staff
Feels like happy place
How amazing the staff is and how clean the facilities are!
Friendly staff, a lot of variety in equipment, kept in working condition. Very nice large pool. Basketball courts and pickle ball courts.
Convenient
Friendly people and staff is nice and friendly.
Friendly helpful staff, good equipment with open spaces.
I love the experience, the staff and my child enjoys it!
I find constant kindness, expertise and fun at the East Triangle YMCA. The trainers/instructors go out of their way to be encoutmraging and positive. I am so thankful to have it so close to my home.
The pool and workout facility
I am happy with the classes.
The classes & instructors are great, and the pool is very well maintained. I do wish the yoga classes could be done in a different room. There is so much banging & noise from the workout room overhead. It's extremely loud, often jarring & very distracting.
I love the Y! In particular, the group fitness classes are my absolute favorite, and my personal trainer (Shaunna) is the absolute best. My favorite classes include Dana's metcon, Shaunna's hi-fitness, John's cycle fusion, and Catherine's load n lift!! The Y is the best.
I like the wellness approach for the family not just the gym rats. I am a member at other gyms as well. The only thing I don’t like about the YMCA is how people are inconsiderate of others with their phone use and time on equipment. I want to see this policed. I feel the only solution is a “no phone “ policy. Period. Only phones can be used outside of the wellness center.
The staff is great! The class offerings are good - wish there were more thrive options available, as the classes fill quickly and are crowded.
Friendly atmosphere . I chose exercise as therapy for my mind and body. YMCA has become my sanctuary of peace. Kudos to all the staff, to the trainers, instructors for making this place where people feel welcomed and feel like being part of a community 😊❤️
The classes
the staff is very helpful and friendly. the instructors are great .
I love the classes and the instructors are friendly and very knowledgeable
Thrive class
Location and employees is a perfect combination. The options for classes changes and adjust, and I really appreciate that.
The pickle ball fields could use an upgrade and it would be great, if we could have some lights on the courts. That would enable more usage.
Clean and well organized. Convenient location. Friendly help. well-updated equipment.
Love it. The gym is great, lots of choices for classes. Love the outdoor pool on your lawn, but would love to have a heated area to dry off again.
Evening classes - best time for me to work out is after work. Love all the variety of evening classes thus far.
The Y has a family atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and fun. It is a clean facility. They offer many types of classes. It is a great place to workout, socialize and meet new people.
Staff very professional and cleanliness of the gym
I’m new to the East Triangle Y, but I’ve already had a great experience. I use the gym most often, and it’s been helping me feel energized and stay on track with my fitness goals. The facility is spotless, and the surroundings are really attractive, it makes working out feel even better. I’m also looking forward to getting involved in some of the outdoor activities once the weather warms up.”
The staff is extremely helpful and the facility is clean. The equipment is expanding and meets a wide variety to meet needs of a diverse needs of membership. And there are a number of programs tailored to the senior population (although could and should be expanded.
My only concern is that sometimes I do not believe the senior/thrive group exercise program is properly tailored to the clientele --more advanced to a younger age group. They should be tailored to age appropriate exercises. And the music in the programs is way to LOAD. Can be heard within the entire facility.. The music played in the 2nd floored exercise facility should also be mixed and not always hard rock variety.
Early am classes. Especially spin and barre
The warm and helpful staff- as well as the people who utilize their services. The variety of services and availability of them.

The complete facility. The quality and variety of the classes, and the support from the staff and instructors. The opportunity to meet people and the sense of community.
My one hesitation about recommending the Y to some people I know is the expense. While I believe I am getting good value for my dues and I am happy to pay them, I can imagine that some folks might find them expensive and would wonder if the could take enough advantage of the facilities and offerings to justify the cost.
Thanks for what you do.
