Your team in South Portland is very helpful, warm, and friendly. When checking the cameras I have been fortunate to catch moments of pure sweetness shared between our pup, and the trainer. It’s reassuring to know that she’s receiving great care.
The friendliness of the staff and the fact that they greet my dog by name when we arrive is wonderful. My dog is always happy to go to bowwow and comes home tired from a busy day. This last time she had a bath and it was very well done!
Daisy and Poppy always have such a fun time playing with friends at camp! I know they always have a very busy day because they are asleep in the car 2 minutes into the ride home.
Both dogs were sneezing when we picked them up, and they have been sick and mopey for a few days now. I wish someone at Camp Bow Wow would have told us the dogs picked up some dog illness while they were there, to let us at least know that somebody noticed they weren’t feeling right.
Our family has used Camp Bow Wow Portland since it opened.
The ownership, employees, and facilities are exceptional in every way.
Our puppy has now grown to a senior dog, and she is treated with the love
and respect due an old girl! We would not think of bringing her anywhere else to "live" while we are away from her.
We have utilized other Camp Bow Wow locations up and down the east coast and all the way to Ohio for many years, and we have always been very happy with those locations as well. Communication between Portland Camp Bow Wow and those in other states is always excellent as far as the mandatory sharing of immunization information is concerned.
The careful attention to proof of mandatory immunizations (even after being a client for many years) is a great example of the high standard of care maintained for all dogs to protect the health population.
We cannot speak highly enough of Camp Bow Wow in Portland, Maine.
Thanks for giving us peace of mind when while our dog is with you.
My little pup has a lot of sass and they aren’t afraid to say that. It’s comforting that they see her as an individual and know how to interact with her. They are communicative, patient and positive. Despite her severe separation anxiety she is able to board and attend day care, and I am able to send her away knowing she is in good hands.
First of all, our lab Tuck goes absolutely crazy when he realizes he is on his way to Camp Bow Wow! We are very impressed with the organization of the whole business and the efficiency of checking dogs in and out. Most importantly, our dog is happy!
