The aquatic workout is amazing. The people going to the ymca are very friendly. I haven’t gotten into the workout room yet.
Marty, our instructor for the aqua stretch class is excellent! We enjoy her sessions and it benefits our well being and health.
Friendly people, courteous, respectful, well trained, competent staff who all say hello when a member arrives. Continuously updating equipment and classes, a great, warm salt water pool!
I joined this January. I love the Variety of levels for seniors in terms of ease and difficulty of movement, Seems there is something for everyone.
I love that you offer fun events. We signed up for the line dancing, and would have loved to have gone, but medical appt. didn't end in time. Hope you do the Boots and Partners event again!
Love the pool classes. When the pool shut down recently, I don't know if related at all to bacteria count. I did get a UTI (bladder infection) on Jan 17th, which I am currently dealing with. Not sure if anyone else reported that re: the pool use in the last 2-3 weeks...??? I can't figure out how I got the bacterial infection. I won't use the pool until the infection clears. I had to cancel the pool last week. I hope someone is monitoring the bacterial county carefully with the pool.
Always welcoming, clean, class offerings for every level and many for me with my older age limitations. Enjoy the mix of ages. Appears extremely well managed with very good team feeling of esprit among staff. Near perfect slice of heaven for windward community.

It starts at the front desk; we are always greeted with a smile, and then, we proceed to our class. Every instructor is different, each brings amazing skills to give us the best possible workout, and everyone is very supportive.
I particularly love the water workouts, and the fact that the pool is heated makes it a bit easier to get in the water on those cold early mornings during the winter months.

There is so much to like about the Windward Y! The staff are fantastic and the trainers are amazing. There is such a variety of classes to take- something for everybody. Everybody is so welcoming and it's such a nice ohana atmosphere 🥰
The pool offers myself and others with mobility problems to move in the water....also weights available ......
