Nalana has gone here since a baby and she’s almost in pre K. She’s always been comfortable in each of her classes and if there’s ever a concern the management of the center is very open door. The teachers care about their relationships with the kids and truly enjoy watching them grow up, teaching them, and building relationships with them.
The staff is wonderful! Our daughter loves going to "school." She's been going there for two years now, and we've seen very low staff turnover. They are very dedicated to daily arts and crafts activities. Last week, they learned about birds, and all our daughter does now is make "nests" with whatever she can find around the house.
We love the YMCA Early Learning Center in University Place! We are extremely happy with the level of care our child receives and the communication that is sent out to families. When our child was transitioning between classrooms, the staff made sure that both our son and we as the parents were ready for the transition. It is truly a joy to see our son thriving in the kind and caring environment fostered by the staff at the YMCA Early Learning Center.

YMCA Child Care is very reliable. They have consistent hours and staff. My children always report being treated well by staff, having engaging activities to participate in, and having their needs met.
Ms. Mo and Ms Mia are the best! They are so great at wrangling a wide range of children of many ages and personalities, and providing a variety of different activities for them on a daily and weekly basis.
Green Mountain Y is the best. We’ve been going there since my 16 year old was in kindergarten and now my 11 year old is finishing up. Mrs Mary is amazing and is the reason we’ve lived it all these years. She so loving and also has high expectations of the kids, which I very much appreciate.
It's a safe place to leave my child before school starts and she only needs to walk down the hall to get to class. I appreciate this so much as a working mom.
The staff know my kids, have (some of them) been there for years, and can build on those relationships. My kids are active, fed, seen and cared for, and enjoy being at Y care.

Friendly place for kids
I love that the staff takes the time to develop a personal relationship with my kids. I also love the creative curriculum and activities that they plan to keep the kids engaged. Y kids at our school is more than a child watch program, they provide a fun and engaging place for my kids to start and end their school day.
I like the staff and that they are open until 6pm
We love all of the workers and how much they care about our kids. They also have a great structure and schedule, and mix of activities to keep the kids busy and engaged.
I appreciate before and aftercare. More than that though, I appreciate how gracious the staff are, both in school and through communication. ♥️
Knowing our son has a safe place to go after school gives us peace of mind. We don’t want to stress about making sure he gets home after school off the bus and into the house okay. We know when he goes to the Y Child Care he is safe and also has time for activities, homework, a snack, and gets to be social. If he rode the bus home he would be alone and probably just watching TV until we got home. We also love that Y staff communicates with us when there are any issues.

We love the Karen attention that the staff provide to our student. Having Mrs. Alona consistently through all of the elementary years has been such a blessing for our family. She is a true asset. I feel the children are safe. I like the structured environment and their ability to get exercise as well.
