I like the variety of equipment. I love the Expresso bike and no other Y's have them anymore. I like the layout. I like that it's not too crowded; I can always get on the equipment I want to use. The staff are friendly. I lalso appreciate that there's diversity amongst the members.
Really good
Lakewood YMCA is an outstanding location! From teaching 6 month old kids to swim, to providing science-based senior strengthening classes, I have nothing but respect for the standard of excellence here. The new weight room will be spectacular and complete in December. Basketball, Tai Chi, Yoga or Pilates anyone? I love exercising here and have made many new friends. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Even when it’s busy, there seems to be plenty of possibilities for activities. The facility is clean, bright and conducive to wanting to staying active. And most of all, the staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
Fun programs. Good instructors. Camaraderie with others. Also the Yvdoes such good work for the community.

We like the friendly atmosphere. Both staff and other Y members are welcoming. The facilities are well maintained and cleanliness seems to also be a focus.

Well organized And coaches are very patient’ great with the kids
The Y of Lakewood, offers a wide array of sports for the kid's to try. It is a friendly non competitive program for all!
The people are amazing. And my kids have grown so much from participating in ymca programs like gymnastics and swimming. I would like Pierce county ymca to start an esports program.
It's a joy to come here!!
