We love the YMCA! I have been a member since I was 6 weeks old. Growing up I attended the daycare with my siblings where we were enrolled in swim lessons. I enjoy swimming still to this day competing in 6 ironmans, and many summer swimming events over the years. During highschool I taught gymnastics at the YMCA. Fast firward many years and after having children of my own I had them enrolled in YMCA daycare where they too attended gymnastics, swim lessons, swim team, various other programs such as basketball, and soccer. The kids enjoy the community events for wellness day, and christmas parties. We currently use child watch, the pool, the cardio areas, gym and track on a daily bases. I love that while I'm traveling I can use other Ys and I frequently use the EC locations prior to work. Sandy at the front counter holds a really special place in my daughter Liberty's heart. It's impossible to enter any given YMCA location within this community and not see several friends.
The hours are convenient, I appreciate the fact that you are open until 9. Nice work out areas and friendly staff.

I can trust the printed schedule for lap swimming. The pool and changing rooms are keep clean… including lockers. As well as the entrance area and hallways 👍👍👍👍👍

I like the friendly, supportive environment at the Y. The Livestrong program came highly recommended when I needed the support. It helped keep me strong and motivated during my treatments. There is a great variety of early evening classes for those of us who work during the day. The Chippewa Y is a safe, friendly environment for all ages.
Haven’t really been part of the activities as I’ve had 3 surgeries in less than 2 years. We have been coming there to walk/run and sometimes weight machines.
We appreciate our local Y staff (and Cali, of course) 😊

Varied hours and exercise opportunities
Everything is well kept and clean. I really like the golf simulator. It would be nice if I didn't have to reserve it the second it becomes available though.
I am in a group of ladies that does water aerobics twice a week. The Y has been very accommodating for our group. The pool area is beautiful and has been recently repainted and other updates done. It's not only a good workout for this group, but the social interaction is wonderful.

We have been going to our early bird exercise program for over 50 years. It has become a true social meeting with the bonus of staying physically fit. The instructors are great and let us go at our own pace while still pushing to improve our health.

I participated in LiveStrong. The instructors were kind, knowledgeable, nonjudgemental, and encouraging! It was very effective for my needs. I liked learning in a safe environment!
I like the Chippewa Falls facility a lot.
I do water exercise with Shauna and she has a wonderful smile all the time for us.
I also do Zumba. I love dancing with Tara and Crista. If I could ask for something will be to have Zumba in the afternoon too.
Since I have osteoporosis, my doctor recommended I use various strength machines and it’s helping. I also use treadmill, elliptical and stationary bicycle as well. The pool has been a life safer for me as well.
