Coaches are awesome. Perfect amount of time for the kids too. I would like to see split games when the 3-4 year olds play the game at end of practice. Instead of having 5-6 kids on each team
Scrambling for the ball, I think they would get more out of it if each coach took a smaller group and had two separate games. I can’t wait until next year for my now 2 year old

Coaches are amazing

The soccer coach was great! She is what made the kids have so much fun. Full of energy and extremely knowledgeable of the skills she was teaching (airplane) was my little ones favorite.

Coach Mary was knowledgeable and very patient. She made sure to engage all of the tots. She knew them all by name from Day 1. Great experience!

This was my family's first experience with soccer shots. My son has been a part of a few park district sports programs that didn't live up to our hopes and expectations, largely due to the "coaches", so we went into soccer shots not holding out a lot of hope. The first class, we were introduced to Coach Mary and my wife and I watched as Coach Mary not only exhibited a passion for soccer but for working with children as well. Every week got better as Coach Mary built on the previous lessons and taught new skills. Coach Mary kept the children's attention through fun games and drills that kept the children having fun and engaged. The children also got stamps at the end of each class which was a wonderful touch that my son always looked forward to. Coach Mary was also very kind toward my younger son and always gave him a stamp despite him not being in the program. After the last class, Coach Mary passed out prize water bottles to the children, a gesture that touched my family and delighted my son. Soccer shots is an incredible program that I can't wait to enjoy with my family again and Coach Mary is the absolute best person for the job.

I like the encouraging, positive environment for the kids. We didn’t have a regular coach (our coach was coach Mary and I think she was there 2-3 out of the 6 practices), which I think was difficult for little kids (3 year olds) because they thrive on consistency and routine. I also think the coaches could speak more slowly and use less words for the littlest kids to understand their directions better. Other than those minor things, it was a great experience.

My son (3yo) did soccer shots at daycare. He would always come home and talk about playing and how much he liked it. We ended up buying him a soccer ball and he plays in our yard all the time.

I like that the coaches are there to help the kids learn to love soccer and enjoy playing. There is no pressure to be a great soccer player.
