Family-oriented, clean, plenty of workout equipment, group classes, youth sports and the pool - our family uses all of these services.

I enjoy the classes and the facility is well kept. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I do wish the hours were longer like opened at 5 am to get a quick workout in before work.

It's a clean environment, with friendly staff. Members that come are very friendly. A place where you can meet new friends and explore other Avernus of feeling belong for elder people like me.

This School Age Program at the Y has been a lifesaver as a single mom who works full-time. I have built great relationships with the staff and program director and feel my kids' concerns are actually heard and addressed. The team members have been accommodating to my kids' needs, as well, which is a big relief for me!

I love that my kids have a safe place to go before and after school. The enrichment classes are a great way to let my child explore didn't creative outlets during the time she's already at the Y after school. My kids look forward to Parents Night Out and love the fun activities that are planned for them!

Coach does a great job connecting to kids at all levels. My son is super shy and sat with me on the bench the first practice and he didnt shame him at all for not participating, just welcomed him and told him he couldn’t wait to see him at the next practice. The next time he jumped right in because of that kindness.

The benefits that my son has received are countless; From physical and emotional development to personalized support from Couch Duran, his wife Sarah and children.

I love the care and education that my daughter receives. She is always so happy to attend, as well as excited when I pick her up. Her social and communication skills have improved. She knows her shapes, colors, numbers and sign language! I love how the teachers know my daughter's personality and unique characteristics. I truly feel like I am leaving her in the care of family. I absolutely love the Y Academy at Northwest Valley YMCA.

We have been very happy with our experience in the YMCA school-age program. Our kindergartener attends both before and after school care, and it has been a huge convenience to drop off both our preschooler and school-aged child at the same location. This has made our mornings run smoothly and ensures that everyone is where they need to be on time.

We truly appreciate the early start and late pickup time options, as both my husband and I work 10-hour days. It has been a lifesaver. Additionally, the staff is fantastic about keeping us informed, whether it's about issues or sharing positive updates about our child. Their communication is excellent, and it gives us peace of mind knowing that our child is in such capable hands.

My daughter enjoys playing in the Jr Mercury league. She has made new friends and she also likes the coach.

Our family feels incredibly fortunate to have found our local YMCA for our family childcare needs! My daughter is not only learning and growing, but thriving! She looks forward to each day, excited to play with her friends and teachers. We absolutely love her group of teachers—they genuinely care about the kids, and their commitment shows in everything they do. Beyond teaching the ABCs, they’re instilling important lessons in manners, patience, and social skills.

I’ve seen such an improvement in my daughter's vocabulary, and I attribute that largely to her time at the YMCA. The teacher-to-student ratio here is noticeably higher than other childcare centers we've used in the past, which makes a huge difference in the individual attention the children receive.

An added bonus is that our kids have been home sick much less often since we made the switch. The YMCA’s environment is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming, which has made a noticeable difference in reducing illness. We’re so grateful for the extra time we’ve had without needing to take off work due to sick days.

If you’re exploring childcare options in this neighborhood, I can’t recommend the YMCA Early Learning Program enough!

Lots of equipment, nice staff, clean and well managed

I love the variety of classes offered. The instructors provide a great workout and make it fun. It is also a very social experience, it's a great way to make new friends.
