The camp was well staffed. Facilities were in good shape (besides dock).
Camp Grady Spruce was very nice and a great setting for a fun camping weekend. Lots of fun things to do and the facilities met expectations. Staff was friendly. All around great time.
Great program.
It was my first time going to a YMCA Adventure Guide, but it was a great experience getting to know all-new people and having the activities right there. I enjoyed having the Y provide the breakfast and lunch meals in the mess hall and enjoyed the quality of the food given our young audience. The only thing that I think would have put a new camper at ease would have been getting the packing list via email further in advance as I got it the day we were leaving. Was reliant on our troop leader to confirm a lot via emails as there was no official list shared in advance about what to pack (that I can recall).
Great program to bond with your child. I am participating with number 2 now.

Great time. Great facilities.
Awesome site well managed. Good mix of structure and free time. Great leaders.
The wide range of activities offered
Great activities without being overly scheduled. Plenty of time to let the kiddos play and spend time with our daughters
Great focused time with my kiddos!
The activities are awesome. However, the price is too high for these campouts. My kids also do Cub Scouts and it is significantly cheaper.
I love that the campout is structured without being overly structured. It lets us go at our own pace which we appreciate. Staff is all wonderful and a delight to deal with. I encourage every grade at school to do a campout with their child. It’s a blast!
The coaches dedication
Competition and facilities.
Loved the wide variety of activities offered.
The Adventure Guides campouts are always well structured, but not structured enough where you feel like you are running around from activity to activity. Our girls always have a blast and it is a great way to meet other dads at the school. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it!
Great program and bonding experience. Kids always look forward to it.
We have such a great group of guys and always look forward to this event. The YMCA does a great job of coordinating the trip and the campgrounds are always pristine.
Great facilities for the boys
Staff and activities were great. Fun time with the community.
The facility was well equipped, including the cafeteria (esp coffee early Saturday AM!), the firewood, and cabin bathrooms (soap, paper towels). The counselors were very friendly to the kids. I give a huge shoutout to the counselors running the climbing wall and horse rides - they were very patient and kind with a bunch of excited, rambunctious 5 and 6 year-olds.
The park was clean, the weather was beautiful and the event as a whole went very smooth.
We had a great experience at the YMCA Adventure Guides. We love going every year and love creating memories with our kids. However, the staff running the BB gun station at Camp Grady Spruce was not careful in gun safety. A staff member shot a bb gun over a childs head. He also swept ppl with his barrel instead of pointing the gun to the ground. The faucet in one of the bathrooms cut my daughters heel as well. Just something to know and improve on. Thank you!
Very fun experience. Can't wait to come back.
It’s a great program, the organizers work hard to make it good.
Communal time with daughter and friends.
So much fun!
It’s a great weekend at Grady Spruce to bond with my daughter and other dads.

We loved it! I liked getting the freedom to hang out with my son and his friends and their dads and have some loosely organized activities.
