It’s a lovely place with a wonderful staff. My trainer Elizabeth Smith is professional & kind. Myself & others would like to use the pool but the schedule is full with classes for non-YMCA members. Extremely disappointed in that.
First it's close to my home, the staff greets you as you enter and leave the building, the swimming instructor and life guards make you feel safe and helps you to engage and make exercising fun.I meet 2 of my co workers for class and we also, attend without each other the main focus is enjoying your evening after a hard day of work. The manager isn't as friendly as the staff but I guess someone has to be a grinch.
Proximity to residential area.
It’s a fabulous facility and tge staff is superb.
The environment and the friendliness of the staff.
I like that being a member of Park South, I truly feel treated as a Family Member. We share in various activities at Park South as well as away from the establishment.
I love the park south YMCA! Staff is always so friendly & welcoming . I also love the preschool that my son attends
The teens had fun, they also participated in community service. I think ever youth need to participate in giving back and doing positive things.
Thank you
TETE
Ta’Tiona provides a warm and welcoming spirit each day we are greeted by her. She’s also has a quick response time when emailing which is very much appreciated. The staff also seem to do great a job at getting to know the students, which makes you feel safe. My daughter truly enjoyed the summer camp and we look forward to doing it again next year.
The Pre-School Director was so patient and nice with my daughter. She knew her by name, which comforted her and allowed her to feel safe each morning. My daughter enjoyed her class and made multiple friends, along with the opportunity to continue to improve her swimming class.
Our experience was 10/10 and she will definitely be returning for Summer Camp next year!

I love the Park South facility, the employees are helpful and always willing to assist. Very friendly and capable. The facility is always clean. The instructor are always on time and we get our full workouts. Great place!
Swim lessons, nutritious meals, beautiful facilities.
There is assistance available if you need it.
The facilities are beautiful. Staff members are encouraging, helpful, and knowledgable! I love meeting our local neighbors, especially the active older adults. It has been a joy watching my kids grow during meets and practices for swim team. Coach Hector is an exceptional coach, who is daily motivating them to learn new skills and deepen their endurance and character.
Coach Hector is excellent! He is the perfect combination of high intensity and positive motivation that works well for kids of all ages. The pool also is indoors but brightly lit with the redone interior and so it does not feel claustrophobic, but instead bright, sunny, and inviting. I also like that there are diving blocks sot they can get a real practice and prepare for meets.
We love coach hector she has learned so much
I like to personal feeling you get with the staff. They are very attentive to your needs. My child truly enjoy going
The warm and inviting environment is very rich and conducive for physical and spiritual growth. The Park South YMCA is a staple in the community that provides a diverse level of interaction amongst neighbors nearby families. Messages posted such as, “You belong here…” are short and small messages that go a long way and tend to motivate and encourage members that utilize the facilities. There is not one age level of people that the branch does not offer program(s) for. On a grander scale, these programs are observable upon entering. They provide a community for everyone and I like that the most about my family experience at Park South.
I love that there is something for all ages but I don't like that during water aerobic we have to share the pool with swimming lessons because it leaves us in a tight space I think they should do swimming lessons on different days. Since I have been coming we first had to change our time to a later time because of swim team it seems that there are no regards for water aerobic.

Staff is friendly and helpful.
