It was out first year playing at the YMCA and our son had a great time. Coach was very friendly always was positive with the kids reminding them it was just a game.
Great communication. Easily accessed schedule. Clear communication about rain delays or cancellations. Coaches with appropriate training and supportive/encouraging techniques. Polite teenage/young adult referees. Adequate parking. Well maintained facility.
The fellowship with families and child enjoys playing sports.

We were on the lions football team and were really pleased with how welcoming, supportive, and engaged the coaches and parents were. My son really had a positive experience.
We did have a lot of rained out/rescheduled practices/games, but that isn't necessarily something the Y could control. However, my other son was also doing soccer at Church360 during the same time period and they didn't have to cancel as often. Not sure how your fields could be helped to reduce the affect of rainfall...
I also did not appreciate when games were rescheduled to Sundays. We do not participate in sports on Sundays and I did not see anywhere that said that would be a possibility when we signed up. If you plan to use Sundays in the future, I suggest you put it as a possibility on the registration page so people can keep that in mind when choosing which leagues/programs to participate in.
Other than that we had a positive experience.
Ms. Martinez was a great volleyball coach. She is very passionate and really great at getting the girls where they need to be to play. Can't wait to sign up my daughter again for the next season.

I really like the ymca because you can get in get your work out done and get out it is a nice size and very comfortable for me

The "Y" is the best!! They have classes for my autistic adult son. Mrs Trista is awesome. We love her.
Senior exercise classes at good times for me (retired). Instructors, other members friendly. Nice front-desk people. Clean, well-maintained facilities.
The welcoming staff made us feel welcome and comfortable knowing we have several autistic child that’s never welcome everywhere but now we found a place for him to be himself.
We will always recommend this YMCA, the staff is great, the faculty is clean and they offer P. E. classes for kids. It’s also a safe environment for the whole family.

Fundamentals
It's a familiar place for me and my children where we all can enjoy something we like, be active, learn something new or share what we know and be part of a community with Christian values.
Highly recommend the GP "Y". Mike Garcia was great as the administrator and hope the new
administration & staff continues to be as great as well. The "C" in YMCA is what makes this centre what it is and provides this surrounding community with multiple benefits. There is something for everyone here, be it Health, Literacy, or Sports. Highly recommend this locale for the whole family.
