When I got in Brie’s chair, I explained to her what happened to my hair. When I showed her my end goal she the explained to me what we could do and then talk about what we would do next after this appointment. She was extremely thorough and took her time to make sure my hair was done correctly. She cut my hair enough to cut down the damage but not so much because I am going through menopause. I am extremely pleased with how my hair turned out and I’m super excited for my next appointment in January. She’s the best and I would recommend her in heartbeat!

Everybody was extremely personable and fun! They were understanding when I was stuck in traffic and late. Even though I was late, they still got me out in time and everything looked amazing! I wish I lived down there to go there for my hair and makeup needs! Loved my experience!

I drive an hour each way to I Am Salon for several reasons. Brie Hefner is an artist. Do I need an artist to do my hair - cut, color, keratin? No. But once Brie does your hair, the difference is so clear! It also helps that the environment is so calming and friendly. From the time you are greeted until you leave, you feel among friends. Note: Many salons stop treating you as a valued client when you get to a certain age. You are suddenly not Insta-worthy, I suppose. I’ve never once felt this at I Am Salon. I will keep driving. :)

Everything is well done, the extra touches are dreamy and the scheduling staff communicate so well. You can really tell they care about all of their customers! Oh and the haircut was perfect :)

She is our go-to for our hair and styling needs and we are really grateful to her for helping with my daughter's biracial hair and how we can find solutions to style and moisturize her curls.
