My daughter was struggling with math in 4th grade. She said one day that she was just not good at math. This could not be farther from the truth. Working at mathnasium gave her the skills to understand math. Her scores at school improved but most importantly she feels so much more confident and loves math now!

My kids are loving their experience at Mathnasium. They ask every day if they get to come. I think the key motivator for my kids has been going multiple times a week. They are able to earn more cards and they really enjoy that. They have also really enjoyed the help from instructors and they feel comfortable asking questions.

We homeschool, and my son loves Mathnasium. It has been a great fit for our family and really checks the box for math in a way that feels engaging instead of stressful. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and do a great job meeting kids where they are while still helping them grow in confidence.
I especially appreciate that they make math feel positive and approachable. My son genuinely enjoys going, which says a lot. It’s been a wonderful supplement to our homeschool journey, and I highly recommend it to other families looking for math support.

We love Mathnasium! My 6yo is struggling in 1st grade with math. She is always so excited to go and keep learning. They’ve figured out how to motivate the little 6yo brain to do math! She particularly loves Liam & Katie. Katie is so attentive, patient, and kind. Liam remembers everyone’s names, makes the kids feel seen, and is always happy to see parents also. Thanks for all that everyone does there, you all have been amazing!

I have been very impressed with our Mathnasium experience! It has provided positive reinforcement and learning of key math concepts. This has helped build confidence in each child’s math skills and performance.
The staff at the Park City branch are kind and respectful. They are very supportive of the students.
I also appreciate all the correspondence provided. The email and text reminders are helpful. The visit recap is fantastic. It is great to receive detailed feedback on the student and their progress after each session.
The Park City branch is highly accommodating of schedules. It is easy to find time to make appointments and to reschedule when schedules change.

Mathnasium has allowed all three of my boys to grow significantly with their math skills while getting them excited about the subject. It helps to fill the gaps and challenge those who has mastered grade level standards. My boys want to go every single time!

We are so glad that we found Mathnasium. As a family, we love math and all the different ways to do math but believe in the fundamentals. We are so glad that Mathnasium takes the time to uncover gaps and understand problematic areas to help students succeed in the future. As a parent of a high school student, we could not be more pleased with the level of learning, Mathnasium has provided. Liam is an Excellent Center, Director and the tutors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The reward system is exciting and breeds and attitude of determination. My daughter loves the session. My two pieces of feedback: 1. find ways to make the concepts more hands on using manipulatives. 2. Additionally, there seems to be a ton of rewards for kids that involve sugar and unhealthy food options. I get the need to get kids excited, but really don’t love that it’s connected to super unhealthy food and candy. Also, there is a balance between kids feeling proud and a sense of accomplishment intrinsically without all the extrinsic rewards. Would really like to build the former and just a natural love for math.

We really appreciate your insights on how we can continue to grow. We agree that incorporating hands-on learning through manipulatives can help bring math to life, and we'll take a look at why they aren't being used more with your daughter and discuss with her instructors.
Regarding our rewards system, your point is well taken. While we aim to make learning fun and motivating, we understand the importance of promoting healthy habits and supporting intrinsic motivation as well. We're actively reviewing our reward options to offer more non-food-based incentives. Our instructors are also trained to reinforce intrinsic motivation, for example with verbal encouragement and high fives, so students feel proud of their growth in ways that don’t rely solely on external rewards. We will review this with instructors as well.
