All of the “Y” workers are very helpful while being most friendly. Lots of great workout equipment and in addition, sauna, steam, pools and more. A terrific place for a workout!
The staff are very professional and the facilities are clean.
Variety of classes
The friendliness, the feeling of being welcome. Wonderful classes & instructors.
Convenient, clean, friendly, good equipment
I love the Y. It’s a true community institution that has met so many of my needs over the years-from child care to swim lessons to a steam room to hide in!
I like the cleanliness of the facility and the availability of the pool, mostly.
I like that they are affordable and that class sizes are small.
Alice has had a good expierence with friends from school at Park St. For the location, size of class and instruction I feel it is comparable to other experiences we had at Goldfish.
Great facility, and great coaches/leaders.
1. Instructor - fabulous
2. Warm water. Lovely.
3. Clean, new ladies locker room
We love the instructor. She is so kind and patient. She helps my daughter to build confidence in swimming.
The facilities are great and I'm seeing more opportunities to participate in the community.
Patient and knowledgeable instructor, uncrowded and clean facility.
The place is very clean, staff is friendly and welcoming, and I always feel like I have access to the machines I need for a workout.
Great instructor and facility!
Professional, kids don’t stop doing laps, focus on technique and great facilities
Lots to do, all areas covered, variety of classes, POOL!! What's not to like ;)
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Director Lisa Kievit who has helped me navigate many of the YMCA's systems and programs.
One issue I'd like to mention...I have noticed that in areas around the Y, especially the weight room, members sit at the machines on their cell phones while others (me included) wait to use the machines. A typical interaction can go like this..."Hi, can I work in with you?" Person on the machine and on their phone..."I have just 3 more sets to go..." Before COVID, there was a huge sign on the wall stating the "rules" of the weight room with one rule being "let other members work in with you in between sets." The sign should be reinstated outlining the rules Including that cell phones cannot be used in the room while working out. I do not bring my phone to the Y because, go figure, I'm there to work out not play on the phone.
Please take this message seriously. I'll even sign my name to it. Thank you, Name removed
Reception staff always helpful with my national membership sign-in
Locker rooms large and clean. Love the sauna and steam rooms
Great layout of equipment among rooms. COULD USE MORE LARGE BALLS IN THE WEIGHT ROOM
Equipment well-maintained.
My daughter learned how to swim at the Y since was still at Park Street Academy. I like this y swim program and the Camp at the Lake.
Wadley and Jessica are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. They also explain what we will be doing clearly. I’ve been tons of fun while learning how to swim and t tread water.
That there are a lot of classes and that the kids get more room to swim than others places we've taken lessons.
Loved the staff, the inclusiveness of the atmosphere the obvious loving and caring philosophy that shines throughout.
The amazing App that takes the YMCA experience to a whole new and improved level.
It’s great to be back🙌🏽👍🏽🌈
