The convenience, the classes and the family atmosphere
An always welcoming staff makes entering the Park Street facility pleasant. The space is clean, and since the recent renovation there are additional great weight machines, a restructured main weight room and great new lockers. Parking is convenient and it is open from early in the morning, so a great time to workout. I especially appreciate the frequent email communications keeping us up-to-date on events, changes in operating hours and new activities.

My sons have been in swim lessons at the Montclair Y for many years. When they were little, they made little progress in swimming at Geyer, but learned not to be afraid of the water.
Since they started at Park Street, they have made steady progress from stage 1 to stages 5 and 6. I am pleased with their progress and they love the water.
Instructors are very attentive to each child's needs.

Park Street YMCA of Montclair is clean, easy to use and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I LOVE the Pool (s), the offering of a Larger (cold) pool for some people and a smaller (warmer) people for others is HUGE. It is the best pool offering I have seen anywhere. This is the #1 selling point for me. The gym is also great, along with the variety of class offerings. Overall, for a very good price point, the YMCA offers everything you need to stay healthy and happy! I also love what the YMCA does for the community with its SACC after school offering. My kids also attend the SACC and we are forever grateful that the YMCA offers this to the community. Thank you YMCA!

Always improving, good equipment, good mix of exercises classes, program for seniors. Pool, which I haven’t even used, racquet sports and so much more community involvement.
